I think this is an excellent interpretation of the song. The judges always say "Make it your own" and that's exactly what she did here. The original is a slow pop tune. Her version has been restructured, sped up, has a more bluesy-rock feel to it with added runs. She never fit in with the usual types we see on this show, but that's a GOOD thing in my opinion. How many Mariah Carey / Christina Aguilera wannabes must we be subjected to every single f-ing season?
