The Supervillians/Sublime/Expendab­les/Pepper/LBDA/ all fall into a totaly diferrent catagory of regae/ska bands. They are real rude boys singing about topics that are the universal backbones of good natural vibration songs. Reel big fish is a Comedy/Parody ska band and good at what they do but what they do is lightyears behind the true irie sounds that SV kicks out on the daily. Pass the crippy weed.....

nah man... the diff is SV and Sublime and Pepper all embraced the Reggae that branched from the genre of ska... whereas bands like No Doubt and Reel Big Fish took ska and fused it with pop and rock.

Kinda like what Streetlight Manifesto did with ska and jazz.

Sublime is the shit. I'm not just saying that 'cause they're hometown heroes, but they brought a new sound to ska, ska-punk, and reggae. They definitely are one of the most influencial groups to the new ska-reggae sound and it's a shame Brad passed.
