@Janteral I love it, but I prefer the original recordings, from years ago. They had a better energy to them, like they cared more about the message they were conveying. Perhaps this is what the dislikes mean - someone just does not like this version?

These two were just brilliant together. I can sort of understand why Paul Simon wanted to go it alone but as great as he is at writing the material, he really didn't have what it takes as a solo performer.

Art's voice has a quality that many of Paul's songs "need"... whether he recognised that fact himself or not! Still, together or apart they are always worth listening to!

They don't have a huge stage show, they don't have a monster backing band. It's just two guys standing there on a stage. And yet, every time I hear them sing this, I get choked up, and it brings a tear to my eye. Why? The MUSIC! They are truly masters of their medium, arguably two of the best pop singers of all time, and even better when they are together. Their harmonies are some of the best I've ever heard, they really understand how to craft a great song.

yea you know what I don't like about Paul Simon? He doesn't do all those cool runs with his voice and stuff. He just stands there with a guitar, sings these pure, honest notes, writes heartfelt lyrics that sound more like poetry (stoooopid), plays pretty, simple yet complex guitar.... Yea, lame. He's a total crap singer/artist. He should really use some auto-tune...

Art is the voice Paul is the musical talent and only sings harmony to compliment Arts voice and the song.
