Oh how much it's great to hear from this astounding band once again. :) Sigur Rós has changed my life and inspired me greatly. Perhaps they even saved my life if it wasn't for their music. I also almost gave up on music completely, sick of the downfalls of the radio today. But when I heard Sigur Rós, I had hope for music again. :) I felt like I was..."blind" for the longest time. Hearing this band...well, changed me. And I like who I am today. Takk, Sigur Rós :)

@BILLYBELFORD1 I think Its very safe to say they are one of the greatest groups in music history, but the beauty of music is that it offers a lot of point of views from different artists, ages. I can't really say that Sigur Ròs is better than Mozard or The Beatles, but certainly each one of them has a special place in my heart and fits to a different mood :-)

Its such brilliant music & u can get carried away in the moments of it but i like Sigur Ros`s music in general so much more than the artists that i mentioned.I do take your point though,maybe i will say the same thing about Pink Floyd in the near future ?????

@BILLYBELFORD1 I think It all depends on why and how we connect to certains sounds in certain occasions: There are times were I d listen to anything else but Sigur Ròs, and that's the perfect soundtrack for that moment...other times I might wanna blast...say..The Kinks or Black Flag ahah And when I am in that mood, they are as much as good for me :-)

And I agree...Pink Floyd is also awesome :-) I hope people will look up to Sigur Ròs decades from now same way as they do for them

@andreacaccese Well that is a very good point ur making & i totally agree wiv u.Im into all sorts,all types of music from heavy rock,indie,sum classical & even bits of opera ?? And yes i do have periods,wer i may only play say The Smiths or Radiohead 4 a while??? So yes i well & truly take your point? I dont know about people admiring Sigur Ros like Floyd in the futre,coz they are an aqquired taste but maybe?? Nice 2 have a sensible chat wiv someone on hear 4 a change :):
