  • I agree with Ron Paul when it comes to issues like this (Partially), but he's still out of his god damn mind 99% of the time. As well as a hypocrite 75% of the time.

100% of the time he is a douchebag.

  • very well thought out comment...

  • Well it can be well thought out, but I've still got 70% of my attention towards video games, so I don't have the time to think it out very well.

  • Every point he makes he is right on the money and 100% right. I've never seen anyone speak with so much honesty and accuracy in politics. Ron Paul is Gold. He is truly 1 in a million...

  • @Annuunnaki i agrew ron paul is a honest man he should be the president he is very smart gay and is the only way that save this country, but most of people are very stupid and ignorant and the laugh on ron paul but is a serious matter he is talking about i like ron paul because he told the truth about goverment .

  • @papusposte Actually the poles on percentage show Ron Paul for 2012 is way ahead of president Obullshit and if you keep up the spread of good word we will laugh at the central bankers. Most people are uneducated so it is our job to keep educating them about what is the truth and who is good for the country. Word of mouth is the best source of connecting and spreading truth so go for it. Ron is the only person in the history of America to raise over 6million in 1 day n in 2012 he'll beat that.

  • Glad to see Rep.Paul bring up the fact that sometimes the US turns on its puppets, and this may be one case. The US has been unhappy with Karzai ever since he had the temerity to criticize bombing civilians.

  • RON PAUL IS A LIZARD PERSON

  • As to RP's point, the way to avoid runaway inflation is to vote against people like George W. Bush because they tend to allow terrorist attacks and they tend to start wars and they tend to allow the global economy to collapse and that all tends to lead to debt.

    Which leads to runaway inflation.

Vote for people like Bill Clinton who brought us peace and prosperity.

  • End the fed too.

  • Bill Clinton brought peace and prosperity?

Clinton continue and even accelerated many of the economic deregulations that brought on the current disaster.

As for peace, well I think the good people at Iraq, Somalia, Haiti, Serbia, and Sudan would kindly disagree.

  • Ron Paul 2012! Spread the word this man is not afraid to defend our rights! He has little personal agenda and votes based on the constitution!

  • It's just a southern accent.

  • I guess you have never been to ATL

  • lol

    Fucking Georgians!!

  • Whenever I hear Ron Paul talking about foreign policy, I think: "Now THERE'S a guy I can get behind!" But whenever I hear him talk about healthcare, I think, "So we let people die due to lack of money? Cold and methodical, eh? That's how we should do things?" I like him, and I like a lot of his ideas, but I'm glad they're not the majority.

  • He doesn't think that healthcare is a right, that is the fundamental difference him and the left on this debate. He wants the gov't out of healthcare. The rest of the repubs are just paid for tools of the status quo and have no ideas for how to change our unsustainable path. Ron Paul has real ideas on how to fix healthcare but it doesn't play to the special interest so it remains not part of the debate.

  • Ron Paul is a true man of the people. He defends our rights constitutionally! He isn't out to make his own agenda he is out to make a fair system for those who he represents.

That's why he is 11 terms and going! I am going to definitely vote for him and spread the word for the next years leading up to 2012 I hope he runs. I think he may really have a chance this time.

We've seen the left is just as corrupt as the right.

  • How can you look a little girl with a broken arm in the face and tell her that she doesn't have the right to have healthcare?

Americans have the right to see a doctor when they're sick. We're a wealthy nation. To say we can't afford to insure everybody is absurd.

We cannot afford not to have health care reform because we need to get -costs- under control. With the current system, they're -out- of control.

  • I'm not saying that a doctor should not help her and they should turn her away. I'm not saying that doctors should not help the needy or the poor. When you say healthcare is a right, you are saying that you have a claim on another persons labor. Liberty means no one has claim on the life, labor, or justly acquired property of another person. The reason we have the problem with cost is b/c of gov't intervention. RP doesn't want status quo, but there are other ways to fix the cost issue w/o govt

  • So are you going to force doctors to see people to? Have doctors lost the right to see who they want. cause if YOU have the right to health care. A doctor has lost the right to practice the way he wants. He must practice in a way that preserves your right?

  • No.

If a doctor refuses to see her, that's fine. I wouldn't want people going to doctors that don't want to see them. They're probably not very good doctors.

I think you don't have a good understanding of rights.

You agree that people have property rights. Well, that hasn't led to the downfall of civilization. Neither does the right to see a doctor (not any one particular doctor, a doctor in general).

The fact that people have rights is not something to be unhappy about.

  • You don't understand my point. Can your right infringe upon my right? Such as a doctors right to practice the way he wants to? Someone has a right to have health care? Well... if you can't pay then who does? Should your right for health care make me pay for you? Are you taking away my right to own my labor so that you can obtain a right to health care? Is it really an undeniable right if you have to force someone else to pay for you? Thats slavery isn't it? Think about that.

  • Just reread my earlier comment about the little girl.

  • So basically you think I should pay for that little girl out of my pocket cause she can't. So that little girl owns my labor... Right, the government just made me into a slave. That little girl owns my labor.

  • Yes.

You are her slave out of basic compassion and Christian love. Her love slave, in a sense.

  • i love how he calls it just like it is when talking of Karzai "our puppet"

  • "We don't have the troops to send. We don't have the money to spend."

Congressman Paul is getting poetic. I like it.
