It's too bad that Steve couldn't keep Harper from trying to hurt Kayla. I know he wanted to make his baby brother happy but in doing that he hurt Kayla and he also inadvertantly put her life on the line i.e. the poisoning by Harper after he thought that she had found the adoption papers. I'm just glad that his common sense seemed to come back at least to a point after Kayla got so sick. The only thing that I wish had been different was that Kayla had stood her ground and not gone back to Jack.
@AstralPixie Me too. I really felt his pain when he said that because no truer words were ever spoken. Steve's desire to make his baby brother happy drove me nuts because it was clouding his better judgement. Jo was a great character and most of the time I loved her but back at this time I really wanted to smack both her and Steve for playing God with Kayla's life because it wasn't fair to Kayla...or even to Jack.
