  • Fantastic. But sorry, I continue to think that Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir are from a different planet. And I'm not Canadian, but Italian

  • And thus marked the beginning of Fierce Meryl.

  • CHARLIE. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR

  • ther foot work is bloody amazin n the compatibility wif each othr 2 im sure they workd ther asses off fr this

  • I like the ponytail on Charlie. Beautiful dancing.

  • I am a roller skating judge and love the way Meryl and Charlie snapped the scissors and held the swing leading into the dance's start-over for a full beat. If you want to see a fine rendition of the Paso Doble performed by roller skaters, check out Swantje and Axel, the 1996-97 world roller dance champions from Germany. The team executed a stunning rendition of the Viennesse Waltz, which is also on Youtube.

  • Meryl looks amazing here. Usually she has very plain CD dresses, but I am loving both of their looks here.

  • As a former World Champion Roller Dance Champion, I have watched this team and have enjoyed the Creative Dance and Free Dance. After watching this compulsory, I have to totally agree with skateitalian. I am amazed how sloppy their chases are executed and neither member of the team crosses correctly. These are basic dance steps that should be executed with no error.

  • You're not reading SkateItalians post right - you don't agree with him at all because he thought Meryl and Charlie are amazing technicians

  • As a former champion roller skater and now a judge, I am sometimes taken aback by the lack of tight footwork by ice dancers: wide cross rolls, not stepping forward from behind the heel, not completing a full stroke after one foot turns, body leaning forward instead of erect and over the skate. Not here! Except for what look's like a double lean from Charlie when he steps foward to enter the X-rolls, this team are amazing technicians. They are a joy to watch!

  • strong, powerful and exciting!

    I loved it,. WOW

  • Great dancing (except for all the arm waving). BUT- great Paso Doble? I think not. Paso Doble is about a bullfighter (the man) & his CAPE! (the girl). I see none of that here. See Torvill & Dean 1984.

  • In a compulsory dance - the steps are required and all the same for everyone- not like an Original Set Pattern Dance which is what Torvill & Dean performed in 1984.

  • @frednginja one of the best paso's I've seen.

great knees, great power and expression.

the Torvil and Dean was an OSP, not compulsory dance.

  • The only team to bring in a touch of Spanishness to the Paso Doble.

  • Very entertaining for a compulsory. One of my favorite dances too.

  • She's so fierce here, which was quite unusual, but in a good way of course:) They lived the spirit of this dance so well, oh my...Love them.

  • Best of luck to you on the next competition. Go Meryl and Charlie!!!!!!

  • Love them so much!

  • Seriously one of my top favorite Paso Doble's. For being such a young team, their expression and interpretation of the dance is excellent! I hope to see this CD from them again in the future.

  • excellent!!!!Ice dancing doesn't get any better than this.

  • Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I couldn't get this on Ice Network (said I was blacked out, although I don't know why) and they were not able to fix it. Anyway your posting allowed me to watch this for the first time today, and that is why I say Thank You. Absolutely love Meryl and Charlie.

  • Thanks very much for uploading Meryl and Charlie's CD! I'm loving it! I think they did a great job here! Good luck in OD and FD!
