thanks very much for your offer yes im near stevenage in walkern i have flown before and set up but only a novice so any help will be greatfull hope to have one buy the weekend still unsure as to which one though
Great flying. im currently on planes because im olny 15 annddd, my dad is flying the blade 400, hes soon going to get the T-Rex 600 i hope i got the number right :s but i will take over the blade, and im looking around seeing how hard it is to learn... any tips on flying it for a beginner?
First of all, get a simulator. I've been flying 5 years and still use the sim very regularly. The Blade is a tricky heli to learn on but very rewarding. Each crash generally costs about £20 so it's much cheaper to crash the sim! Good luck.
i already have a sim, but Ive been practicing with planes... i can fly the small indoor heli's but i cant seem to remember my orientation... wow. please ignore my spelling, ha ha. but yeah, Ive learned to turn at the lower side of the propellers and it will go back to normal but its just confusing i keep forgetting it, ha ha. hope ill be as good as that! ha ha.
Bought me one of these badboys this weekend...400.00 crashed it next day. Have the PC simulator too.... My own fault though, Flew it in an apt complex parking lot... Gonna price the repairs today.
go for the plastic parts first, aluminum is waaay to expensive for beginners, it can get pretty expensive :( just remember to hit the kill switch before u hit the ground, saves so much more...
Very nice flying! I like to watch scale flying more than 3d flying very relaxing and more like watching a real heli.I have a blade400 and a trex600e the blade400 is harder to fly but cheaper to repair.
I've been flying the 36 for so long it feels very natural. The Blade400 is much harder to fly, it seems more twitchy. Possibly due to me not quite setting it up right. Since filming this I watched a setup guide on the controller and have made some changes, it hovers much better now. Hopefully next video will be better!
How long you had your heli? Nice stuff.

The Blade looked like it was leaning quite a bit. Was there a bunch of wind?

smooth flying mate, will you be learning 3D on the blade 400?
leezaal 3 years ago
Doubt it - it's hard enough to fly forwards and upright!
