In response, he blessed them When they lost their temper, he prayed to Allah(SWT), asking for peace. When asked how to be a good Muslim, three times the Prophet(PBUH) responded "Do not get angry".
Also he was disgusted when he realized that men would beat their wives. He said ": "Do not beat your wife." The Prophet (PBUH) condemned the man who beats his wife in the day and then approaches her at night. And to beat her to the extent of inflicting serious injury is enough grounds for her to obtain divorce from the judge."
He also said "Turn not away (from your wife) altogether, so as to leave her hanging. If you come to a friendly understanding and practice self-restraint, then Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Merciful (4:129)

But as I said before, if Islam truly promoted beating your wife if she upsets you, then the Prophet(PBUH) would have beaten all of his wives multiple times. They all tested him in some way. In response, he blessed them When they lost their temper, he prayed to Allah(SWT), asking for peace. When asked how to be a good Muslim, three times the Prophet(PBUH) responded "Do not get angry".

The video states that the punishment was not for carrying a cell phone but for being with a man not her husband. Also, this is in Afghanistan not Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is actually a very peaceful country.

If Muslims population is 1,541 million (2008), 231 million are practicing Islam. In this case, they would have killed 231 non-Muslims, if we assume each Muslim should kill one non-Muslim. Have you heard 231 million non-Muslims killed by Muslims in 2008? If Islam teaches so, they would have killed, but Islam didn't teach such violence.
