@jimsnodgras well that answers my question lolz.., I am just beginning a search looking wondering if there are atheists with the smarts to fear and oppose the RFID chip and within 5 seconds I find you lol., not all atheists are as foolish as I thought lol., well., anyhow., search must go on :)
I agree with you on the government. But what does that have to do with your prophocies? Things that Revelation says can be interprutted many different ways. So saying, "Oh! The bible says this.. and this is happening! Praise god!" is ignorant.
I don't know most atheists. I would not presume to speak for such. Indeed, I've only known a handful of people in my personal life who were courageous enough to openly profess their atheism. Those few have found aspects of religious doctrine to be curious, disturbing and sometimes frightening but never something to laugh at. Speaking in generalities is never conducive to a meaningful discussion so I will with draw from this one. Good luck.
I have already withdrawn from this discussion. Now you choose to repeat yourself while preaching to the chior. Please stop. I do not expect to hear from you again on this topic. Goodbye and good luck.
You've got a lot of tangents running through your premise and discussion. Where your initial question may relate, I see no social relevance applied to church doctrines, teachings, practices or history.
Are you suggesting a common politic between secularist and theist? What aspects of "Christian end times prophecy" do you consider relevant to an atheist's thinking? How do or should they relate? What part of Revelations are you considering? Please refine your discussion and perhaps your question.
Hmmm... Dumb question? No. Skewed? Maybe. Can't help thinking that Christians would well know something about out-of-control government and seeking total control of people's lives. After all, they did have the Dark Ages. And what would they have today if they could? As a secularist and atheist, I'm pretty sure that I do not share the same fearful reasoning as a Christian or theist in general. I'm sure that we would not share the same solutions. Can you say church doctrine, sharia or jihad?
mark 13:14 alone shows christians will be around when the antichrist is in power, it says:" 14But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains" for we wouyldnt be able to see him standing where we ought not unless we we still on earth
not every christian believes that the rapture will happen before the antichrist starts harming and killing people but they believe that it will happen after that starts at some time. I believe we christians will be killed by the orders of the antichrist, ill give Mark 13:5-23 as some scriptures that supports this though there are more
