@wackyz i tryed feenix server. didnt work. i try to make account says my secret word is to short or absent and i keep picked new 1 and still says that. also my game wont patch to 1.12.1 or someting. i load wow.exe. and i put in my user/pass and stuck at handshaking...
feenix is a shit server its just fucking horrible do not play feenix, you leel up so fast that when you reach a lvl 20 area for example you get owned by the mobs coz ur in lvl 5 gears, everyone buys gold with real money and buys gear, everything on the AH is expensive, lvl 5 items are 10g its a disaster, no one is helpfull ive been wanting to join a guild for a week and no1 let me in its just fucking horrible take my word.
If you want to play feenix, here's a few things wrong with the server:
- as 324fender said, rates are higher then they should be (suggestion to the lazyness of Feenix Team)
- raids are far from fully scripted, some issues regard Atunnement requierment for UBRS and OL, boss fights are either too hard or too easy, the scale is very broken on boss fights..
- players and Staff aren't friendly, its nothing like the Vanilla you hoped to find.. so, just pass it
@toxicitzi i play at Feenix and most raides are scripted. Still has job to be done but atm its the best 1.12 server i have come across. Lolwut players are fine, and for the staff ever bothered to visit the forums? It is 75% like the old days ^^
I've started there like 5 or 6 months ago, when there was only ZG and MC raids unlocked, Onyxia took months to be scripted, BWL took 3 months to be finally scripted and it sitll took weeks to finalize every boss which even today isn't scripted properly. Nefarian took 2 more months to finalize
I have a warrior tank of T1 8/8, T2 4/8, full FR gear and all that other shit, its not a great server.. and its not the best vanilla server out there either :)
No matter how much gimmicky stuff you put in a private server, you will never... EVER get the Pre-TBC experience unless you truely make it patch whatever was before 2.0, exactly the same, same leveling rates, drop rates, every boss scripted and so on.
I am glad to see many people are trying, but until someone makes a true Pre-TBC server, my soul will still be dead. If anyone hears about a true Pre-TBC server let me know please ^_^
the server is still in developement but seems to come in the next 3 weeks! (it was announced for mid june, but as you know there is always some delay)
there is a big community (1000forum members) before the server even started! everyone waiting for the server to open!
there will be blizzlike rates. no uber-gear for donations. you start at lvl 1 and the server is 1.12.x!!!!!
My buddy is running it, he's put up tons of privates in the last few months, all running great. That team helped set up WoWLegacy, practically the new WoWscape today.
Yeah, i'm looking for a fully functional/scripted 1.9.4 server and have been for some time... Instant level 60 sure is nice, but kind of destroys the feeling. Also, at least a thousand players, preferably 4-6thousand players are required for a real living server, wich is kind of hard to host with private cash..

this server defeats the purpose of pre BC servers, in vanilla the fun part was the challenge of getting to 60, and the challenge of getting gear. I wouldnt want to just get instant dungeon sets and 60.

all talents from TBC are disabled, mages learn ice block trough talent, no empowered shadowbolts. VERY hard instances, we are 50% in ZG with half MC gear.
Admins keep on surprising us with new things.
Feenix is da place.

I agree with Wackyz... If you're looking for a prebc server Feenix Server is perfect. We got scripted instances and non of that donor gear crap that really pisses everyone off.
We'd really like to have YOU so come on =)

For all of you who are interested in a decent Pre-BC server... Feenix Server is the right one for you.
Blizzlike rates, Bugfixes, pretty much everything is there!
I just joined yesterday, Got welcomed very warmly and people helped me out and answered questions I had about the server.
This is so far the best PRE-BC server I've seen. No donor gear that ruins gameplay or anything.
I HIGHLY Recommend this server for everyone.

@wackyz i tryed feenix server. didnt work. i try to make account says my secret word is to short or absent and i keep picked new 1 and still says that. also my game wont patch to 1.12.1 or someting. i load wow.exe. and i put in my user/pass and stuck at handshaking...

feenix is a shit server its just fucking horrible do not play feenix, you leel up so fast that when you reach a lvl 20 area for example you get owned by the mobs coz ur in lvl 5 gears, everyone buys gold with real money and buys gear, everything on the AH is expensive, lvl 5 items are 10g its a disaster, no one is helpfull ive been wanting to join a guild for a week and no1 let me in its just fucking horrible take my word.

If you want to play feenix, here's a few things wrong with the server:
- as 324fender said, rates are higher then they should be (suggestion to the lazyness of Feenix Team)
- raids are far from fully scripted, some issues regard Atunnement requierment for UBRS and OL, boss fights are either too hard or too easy, the scale is very broken on boss fights..
- players and Staff aren't friendly, its nothing like the Vanilla you hoped to find.. so, just pass it

@toxicitzi i play at Feenix and most raides are scripted. Still has job to be done but atm its the best 1.12 server i have come across. Lolwut players are fine, and for the staff ever bothered to visit the forums? It is 75% like the old days ^^

I've started there like 5 or 6 months ago, when there was only ZG and MC raids unlocked, Onyxia took months to be scripted, BWL took 3 months to be finally scripted and it sitll took weeks to finalize every boss which even today isn't scripted properly. Nefarian took 2 more months to finalize
I have a warrior tank of T1 8/8, T2 4/8, full FR gear and all that other shit, its not a great server.. and its not the best vanilla server out there either :)

No matter how much gimmicky stuff you put in a private server, you will never... EVER get the Pre-TBC experience unless you truely make it patch whatever was before 2.0, exactly the same, same leveling rates, drop rates, every boss scripted and so on.
I am glad to see many people are trying, but until someone makes a true Pre-TBC server, my soul will still be dead. If anyone hears about a true Pre-TBC server let me know please ^_^

the server is still in developement but seems to come in the next 3 weeks! (it was announced for mid june, but as you know there is always some delay)
there is a big community (1000forum members) before the server even started! everyone waiting for the server to open!
there will be blizzlike rates. no uber-gear for donations. you start at lvl 1 and the server is 1.12.x!!!!!

I heard about untold realms too.
My buddy is running it, he's put up tons of privates in the last few months, all running great. That team helped set up WoWLegacy, practically the new WoWscape today.
Try that server if you want a good one.

Yeah, i'm looking for a fully functional/scripted 1.9.4 server and have been for some time... Instant level 60 sure is nice, but kind of destroys the feeling. Also, at least a thousand players, preferably 4-6thousand players are required for a real living server, wich is kind of hard to host with private cash..

this server defeats the purpose of pre BC servers, in vanilla the fun part was the challenge of getting to 60, and the challenge of getting gear. I wouldnt want to just get instant dungeon sets and 60.
