  • They sure had a varied program-Seems like you had just about everything kind of musical talent on stage. Glad you had a good turn out and that Beatles Day was such a success. Now rest up for the radio show. :)

  • Thanks. Only two weeks to go 'till Hastings Rock. One door closes & another door opens :)

  • You are a man of many talents Andy; if only there were 20 of you on the day....

    This is brill. Susie x

  • Thanks Susie. I bet my wife is glad there's only one of me!! :)

  • Nice camera work and great music! Off to watch part 2.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed the show :)

  • What a great day Andy, and what a fantastic amount of money raised. Bravo to all the acts and to everyone involved.

  • Thanks. So far the event has raised over £60K altogether, which i think is amazing :)

  • When's Pink Floyd day?

  • Funnily enough one of the acts on the day are a Pink Floyd tribute act. They always manage to sneak in a few references to Pink Floyd during their set. So don't worry Pink Floyd were not forgotten.

We do also have the occasional Bob Dylan day here as well. But not a whole day for Pink Floyd, as yet :)

  • That had to be a complete blast. How lovely. I would have loved to have been there. Huge Beatles fan here. I never met a Beatles fan that I didnt like...its almost like great personalities circle around their vibe. ~Raven

  • It certainly is great fun & i'm very pleased to be involved with the event.

It's also great to watch really good musicians give their own personal interpretations of the Beatles music, in a wide variety of styles.

There are two more videos of the event to come, over the next couple of days :)

  • Andy, cool,,,I will be watching those right away...Love good music~Raven

  • Maybe I am missing something, with such high profile artists is 11000 pounds a lot to raise?

its not criticism I am indeed wondering.

anyway it looks a lot of fun, 10 hours of Beatles is always fun.

  • Just read your reply to Curt, so forget the question :-)

  • The vast majority of these acts are local musicians, all of whom give their time for nothing to help raise money for charity.

We are very lucky to have some amazing talent in this area, as you've seen.

Believe me £11k is very good going for something like this. The money raised is basically door receipts, t.shirt sales etc :)

  • Fair enough, that's indeed is great talent, I was sure one of the first guys was actually Joe cocker to begin with...

  • No such luck i'm afraid. But i'm sure Mick will be flattered to be confused with Joe Cocker :)

  • There are a lot of older looking guys playing 60's stuff - hang on have I stumbled on my channel by mistake? Great montage of acts there Andy

  • Thanks old timer :)

  • So this has already come and gone? For some reason I thought you said you would be absent here because of it later in the month.

That's fantastic that you've raised so much money. COOL!

But that snow at the end - BRRRR!

  • Hastings Rock, the radio station i'm involved with, comes on the air on May 3rd for 28 days. That's when i'll be away from YouTube.

That's the most money the event has ever raised, which is brilliant.

Last year the event was held on one of the hottest days of the year, this year it snowed!! :)
