@pooptut Umm...since you asked, let me explain it to you:
1. With nordic skis, you can ski uphill. So you don't need a lift and you don't need to pay for a lift ticket. If you've got a hill, you can ski. For free. Which is pretty cool if you're not rich, or if you don't like being surrounded with rich assholes.
2. Nordic skis are really light. Advantages should be obvious.
Yeah, actually, the gayest thing is those pussies in the park wearing pastels, camo, and plaid, and skiing on brand new skis their daddies bought them in exchange for sexual favours. Alpine skiing is for little fat kids, who go off to blow snowboarders in the trees while teleskiers get all the babes. At least jibskaters don't sit there and talk about how close they came to hitting that rail or trick while they stoke eachother off and piss their pants. Try not hating something that's different.
the french didn't bring the jibskate to the park, fischer is an austrian company and it was an american idea. jibskates are awesome! light and fast, and way more of a challenge that using alpine skis! alpine skis are so easy!
It's like normal freestyle skiing, minus the style.
