@pizzaonaninja I ride within the speed limit, but I don't want my video showing I'm travel at 30mph and another road user goes past me. IE maybe speeding, I'm not about getting people in trouble.
Thunderous71, thank you for your review. You stated that the clock resets every time you swapped out the battery, which was a minor frustration. VIO's FAQ specifically addresses this concern. If you power off the unit before removing the batteries, you have up to one hour to swap out the battery without the date & time getting reset. Can you verify that's true and report back?
@Thunderous71 I purchased the POV.HD, partially based on your review. The loop & forward feature is unique compared to all the other sports video cams I researched. I took the camera on a 3.5 day motorcycle adventure with a couple of buddies. Although it did lose time & date data the first night I played with it while getting ready for my trip, it actually managed to retain the data each time I swapped out batteries during the trip. I always went into the menu to check after each battery change.
@Thunderous71 Perhaps a firmware update might resolve your clock reset issues? I'm not claiming you're wrong about the behavior of your POV.HD unit - I just wanted to let you know that mine was working, mostly. I did have the unit freeze up a couple of times so that I had to remove batteries to get to reboot/respond - and I had to reset the clock each time that happened. It was blazing hot in northern California, which may have contributed to the system crashes.
@HumVeeYT Yea I do indeed love the system, but sadly in the last couple of weeks it has developed a fault. So its going back, I'm hoping I'm just unlucky and they ship me a nice new one.
Its a system I like a lot and the feature list is great. Have fun !
why is the lower part/dash censored?

@HumVeeYT Sorry to say the clock does indeed reset itself once the bats are removed. Tested it twice now.

Much better sound (apart from your dodgy English accept, haha). Great that there's no wind noise too so very clear.

@AridersLife One of the reasons I bough this cam, very easy to mount with suction cups. Need to mask out the console better though ;)
