I can tell ya this much about ffxiv........the chat box sucks :(

since there is no AH you have to find the hidden marketplace and look thrue every bazaar to find what you are looking for. not to mention that as of right now, just about every pce of gear has to be synthed. mobs are not balanced. and there seems to be no EM's. but i haven't played in like 3-4 days cause ive been sick. maby ill be able to latter go'n tomorrow to see a doc. L8R

@Faerilyn I managed to get in the beta during phase 3 and just thought i would post comment here to say that i was having a blast with the game. It definatly has some laggy ui issues, there currently working on before release.I think the game is just beutiful though even on low settings.And grouping with people is very fun via guildleves or anything else..Well i just stopped by to increase the hype meter and put my 2 cents in. Hope to see you at release... beta server kefka currently

@michaeliskoo88 Nah dude, MMOs are known for having flashy effects and something "revolutionary to the genre" but past those, nothing else....FFXI didn't really have that, but is amazing. Guild Wars is just gonna be another action-bases game with no depth/cool scenery/NPC's you care about/or anything else, just like WoW...

A little part of me died inside when me and my friends ran the benchmark. I quit all 3 of my jobs recently but found out I'm gonna have to build a new computer for FFXIV?! Damn, that's just my luck.

I only wish the PS3 version was coming out the same time. That would make my 289 benchmark score go away from my mind. >.<

@TheFakeChinaman Hello :) It'll not be neccessary but would be nice to have some background knowledge about the series since alot of times elements, mobs, jobs, etc. are similar from one FF title to another. You're not new to the Final Fantasy series, kupo?

Awww that was a cute vid. I was on the gilgamesh server so we proabaly never met. In any case I made lots of friends on FFXI and hope to make more in FFXIV. Ya maybe most of the servers will have similar names. One thing worries me though.. I hope some areas wont be impossible to explore without "Sneaking" around. That was kind of a downer. That and problems finding party members lol.

@Xenoxander Luckily one of my first goals in mmos have always been able to to stealth and transport myself. Sneaking around is actually fun for me. Let's just hope there are no true-sight mobs(they suck) till an expansion or DLC... <_< And from what I've seen, XIV does not force players to party like FFXI.

@Haters37 Based on what my friends who tested FFXIV have told me, the servers seems to have character-based. i.e. Jecht, Sephiroth, Squall etc. If that's true, then my LS and I will away from the names that may appeal to "emo" ppl. (No offence to ppl who actually call themselves emo.)

@gmoya909 Just got Abyssea a few mins ago. <_< (I know I'm slow. lol) I'm thinking the same, COL for PC and REG for PS3 in March. I'm doing it that way so I can test out both special items. You probably know...the COL will have Onion Helm and REG will have those sweet looking spectacles. :D

It's releasing worldwide on the same date. You can pre-order the collector's edition which is available on September 22nd and the standard edition on September 30th. You'll get different bonus items based on which one you purchase and you'll be able to play early if you buy the collector's edition.

hha, you dont have to feel weird. but ya i feel you on wanting to get a linkshell together on XIV. me and my cuz have actually already have a site up and running, were just not wanting to get it going with applications till the actual relise of the game, and who knows we may decide to just join someone elses, but our heart is set on using ours & hopefully getting more leaders in it becides us.
