I'm very interested in learning Tarot, only just begin developing an interest in psychics, mediums and such. In regards to keeping your Tarot in a sacred spot, it'd be ok to keep them in a draw? Cards with special energy? Do they get that right after they are printed? Where in the process do they become 'special'. The information it gives is too general and could apply to almost anything... it would be nice if this could actually give specific details that all become true. Just like with religion, it makes you feel happy, gives you hope, etc. Mentally, it might give a positive effect if you truly believe in it, only to become disappointed at a later stage when confronted with reality.

@racin9 9 is a *magickal* number because *3* is considered holy to many religions, 9 is *3x3*, therefore 3 times as sacred. Why 3 is holy, im not sure. Card-pulling is based on the question. For example, if i want to know about my financial status, i would 6 cards. Because to me, 6 reminds me of cash and money. Pulling cards also depends on how major your question is. Like, a daily card would bet be 1 card, because it is one day. If 1 week, maybe you would pull 7 cards.

I'm terrified of Tarot Cards. I had an awedul experience years ago. Plus, i'm prone to making mistakes, i don't want to let things into my house. I heard tarot cards are like portals and they can let them open up bad dood...my friend owns them and she doesn't believe they;re harmless. I think they're terrifying.

i have a set of Tarot cards i need some help my question is just begining now mine has a book but has two meanings up & the reverse which is down so how they come out is what it says right ? so i will have to read the book & explain to the person simple readings right or will they know from the book reading will that explain the same ? thanks for your time

The spiritual aspect of tarot cards is directly proportional to the spirituality of the person using them.
PLAYING CARDS were perhaps originated from China but the TAROT is from the Italian «Tarocchi» of the century ⅩⅤ(15º) which was about card games then in the century ⅩⅧ(18º) the divination of the TAROT was originated..

There exist a Tarot Card Game, "Tarocchi" (it has other names but I'm only familiar with this one). Does involving your own deck in this game helps one connect to them easily, and by connect I mean grow in touch with. Or does this offend them?

Cards with special energy? Do they get that right after they are printed? Where in the process do they become 'special'. The information it gives is too general and could apply to almost anything... it would be nice if this could actually give specific details that all become true. Just like with religion, it makes you feel happy, gives you hope, etc. Mentally, it might give a positive effect if you truly believe in it, only to become disappointed at a later stage when confronted with reality.

In a more psychological aspect, tarot cards can make sense to a scientific mind.Read up on Sigmund Freud and the subconscious. Tarot cards are amazing because they're a helpful tool for all people.

@racin9 9 is a *magickal* number because *3* is considered holy to many religions, 9 is *3x3*, therefore 3 times as sacred. Why 3 is holy, im not sure. Card-pulling is based on the question. For example, if i want to know about my financial status, i would 6 cards. Because to me, 6 reminds me of cash and money. Pulling cards also depends on how major your question is. Like, a daily card would bet be 1 card, because it is one day. If 1 week, maybe you would pull 7 cards.

@thorkyll It was. Originated in China, traveled through the Middle East, and to Europe. Eventually it was mixed with a bunch of religious symbols and people started using them for divination.
The spiritual aspect of tarot cards is directly proportional to the spirituality of the person using them.
