This is by far the best real nail french tip tutorial I've found. I've watched about 20 or more videos, and hardly anyone shows how to get the curve...they do it straight across. I love how you showed only to put the clear on the top half before white. That's where I've been messing up. Thank you so much..,.great video!!

You can use any brushes really. Mine is just an old eye make-up brush. Just cut the ends so it's flat and there you go, off to do your perfect french manicure :D

u can also use the brush of a dried out nail polish

Yuki, how if i want two colours like replace the no colour part to for example pink and the french part is white for example...how ?? i'm just wondering...^^

There's 3 ways:

1. when you finish the white and the erasing part, apply the pink on top but avoid touching the white just how i've done it on 3:50 - where i used a pale red-ish base coat.

2.If your pink is pale/light enough you can just apply it straight over the whole nail including the white but you will have to be careful with pink you chose b-coz it might tone down the white.

3.A different method, that would be to do the base coat first, pink second then the white free-hand which you need a very steady hand to do :-) hope it helps

This has to be the best tutorial i've seen. It's simple, and it turns out the best. I didn't have a brush like the one you used, but I used a simple sponge eyeshadow brush. I was very happy with the way it turned out, thank you.
