That's orb lightning! It's when the static in the air is compressed into a ball, kinda like stars. They move across the sky at a pace that's determined by the charge they're getting. It's quite a spectacle. It's also extremely rare. Nice sighting!!

I believe this was shot on a Sony PD-150 when I was still in school, I was unable to focus clearly on the object before it vanished, it very well could have been a airplane, but its was eery, I have yet to catch any supernatural phenomenon on my HD cameras but I'll post it if I do

Nice footage of ball lightning. I have seen a giant triangle spacecraft flying near power lines and so have other i hear. so if u are going to try find real u.f.o.s i guess in thunder storms may be a good place to start or near power lines. Or anything that transmits alot of energy :). Nice footage and music also =]

That's not a UFO, HOWEVER, What I think you have there is BAll Lightning, a Very rare and very cool weather phenomenon. They only happen during lightning storm. If I were you I'd turn that footage over to the university's science department. Again very rare thing, even more rare on video. Also, great music. John Williams??

The universe is huge, and im willing to accept that it is highly likely that we are not alone out here. But, if humans have almost discovered light refraction camo "like the camo the predator used in the movie series" chances are that other "intelligent lifeforms" are light years beyond even that.
