I have this as well. i bought it about a year ago at Sallys. I only used it once and it seemed to be quit heavy for some reason. Its very shiny too. Its not bad.
I'm a caucasian woman with wavy/curly hair and I have noodle conditioner drying in my hair for the first time as I'm typing this. I hope that my hair turns out as nice as yours did. Is it really necessary for me to put some type of oil in it as you did? My hair is fine and I'm concerned that putting oil in it might weigh it down.
@rachelsmename :: I'm not sure but if oil is too heavy for your hair you can either try a lighter oil (like jojoba, grape seed or coconut) or don't use oil at all. My hair type needs oil to seal in moisture.
I'm a little late to the party but what kind of weave hair is that? (if you can remember) I've been trying to find a weave texture that wouldn't have me trying to straighten my natural hair.
I swear by this stuff for my biracial daughter's hair. Keeps her curls locked in an under control. Have you tried any other beyond the zone products?
kmjruth and 4jazzyfizzel, I think the reason why it makes your hair dry is because it has silicones in it. Silicones make your hair look shiny and feel moisturized at first. But after a while it blocks moisture from your hair and it ends up dry. That being said, it seems some people can tolerate the silicones in their hair and other people can't. I can't.
I've been using for about a week and my hair seems dry and lacks shine but the product definitely defines my natural wave/curl pattern. Have you tried the mousse?
girl I have been using this every single day for like 5 yrs now i cannot absolutely cannot live without this I am a white girl with hair to booty and curly as can be lol
I haven't tried it on dry hair, only wet. I did not notice any build up at all, it's very light. It's been a week since i did that and it's still holding well on the wavier texture, only a day or 2 on the 4b texture. Still very shiny. I'll do a twistout with it and report back. oh and a very soft hold!
.. Soundz lykk we cookn loll !

are you re-appying it ever day? i wouldn't recommend that. i haven't tried any of their products besides the curling creme.

love it. You have to use very little or it will give you crunch,
this is not a product that should be applied in small sections, with full saturation, unlike many other leave-ins/
my hair is shoulder length and I used a quarter and a dime sized dollop(s) let air dry and beautiful.
there is also a mousse...same philosophy, use very little.

I've never seen that product before. I'll have to keep a look out for it. Are there any -cones, petroleum, or mineral oil in it??
