Man why are so anime fights so dull and some so awesome for example this is just dull and boring, while some other battles like ichigo vs ulquiorra are made much more awesome with a lot more frames. Or Rock lee vs that bone guy. Is it really that difficult to spend less time on fillers and focus on making battles awesome. In this they just show up-close kenpachi swing his weapon then same with Nnoitra then their weapons touching then the same thing 5 times then some boring explosion.

This fight isn't detailed and epic like the Ichigo vs Byakuya, Sasuke vs Killer Bee, or Luffy vs Lucci, or Kakashi and Shikamaru vs Hidan and Kakuzu.

@TsukuyomiGeass Exactly in most anime battles get really boring after the first episode. But the battle before this one is pretty badass. Ichigo vs Grimjow it would have been perfect if they hadn't made so many annoying Inoue scenes. I really hate when they fight and they stop because she has to say something boring like "Ichigo don't die" Or we have to hear her think. And apparently ichigo's mask gives him super hearing because he was able to hear Inoue from like 200 meters.

Actuallly, yes shikai, though kenpachi has no control whatsoever over the sword's power. His sword is always in shikai, just like ichigo's, cause he doesn't give a f*ck about trying to change it into its sealed state :P
