Nice! So bad it's good. Byberry ruled. Nobody that didn't grow up near that place will ever have any idea how cool it was. Looks like a garbage heap here, but back in the late 70's and early 80's it was only newly broken into, still quite intact, and way scarier. There were constant rumours of devil worshiping and sacrifices there at night - and many buildings not accesible by car. And the place was like dozens of buildings and hundreds of acres connected by underground tunnels. Cool as shit!
Awesome little trip back to Byberry in the 80's, with a Dodge Dart as the star. I can see the rusting rear quarterpanels, hear the ball joints creaking in the front end, but most importantly, fire up that Slant 6 and burn gravel, baby!
Thanks for the 2 and half minutes down memory lane.
¿Quién no recuerda a Starsky y Hutch?
Todo el mundo recuerda este show y Baretta y The Streets of San Francisco!
The car is sitting behind a fence at a car shop on Philmont Ave. Trevose. I owned it in the 90's, had it painted bright yellow, and sold it to the current owner after I blew the engine.
I lived in NE Philly back around 1985 and remember this building back in the woods. It was all overgrown with weeds and there was debris all over the place. A real dump. I went in and explored a little but the whole place gave me the creeps so I left and never went back.

This is taped March 9, 1986, the day Brittany Snow was born, if I remember right.

It seems like yesterday when we made this film. Wish I still had the 69 Dart!

Yes it does. I wish we were driving to Washington HS in the Dart listening to Imus on 66NBC like we used to. "MR PARKER!" says Mrs. Morrissey.
