kaya, kirsten, addy, and josefina are in danger. that's y they're called the Forgotten 4! they r in danger of retiring becuase nobody's buying them. all they're worried about is kit & ruthie, julie and ivy, and all the "newer, better, cooler" dolls. the most recent Josefina dolls that i new was bought is 2 YEARS ago. my penpal bought her. these dolls r in great danger. why doesn't anyone realize. u can get the new ones and old ones! just help the endangered ones! i don't want these dolls to go!

They are in danger because nobody is buying them, and with all these new dolls everyone forgot about Kirsten and Josefina (And addy and Kaya, too!) That is when they became the Forgotten four. And still, everyone is thinking about Kit! Ruthie, too! If nobody starts buying the Forgotten girls, they might get retired. So they are in major danger.

They don't? I wouldnt know since I haven't bought one in ages or played with one, but thats sad. Addy and Kirsten if I remember have alot of history, and its sad that they don't want to show little or big girls what role models the dolls can be. =]

Mattel is odd and doesn't emphasize the books anymore, either. It's sad that Kaya, Josefina, Kirsten and Addy get little to no attention. Their collections are dwindling the most, too. I have all 4 of them and it is hard to collect everything I want for them and my other dolls (Felicity, Jess, #24, #26...and to come: Kit, Nicki, Mia, #14 and #19 and a ?.)

oh, how i wish Plesant company still owned American Girl. I agree 100% with you. American Girl used to be more historic; more historic collections instead of alot of the Just Like Yous. I think AG is turning into a regular toy store with these dolls. Of course, I'm a history geek, so I kinda complain :D but yeah, FelicityFan I agree with you totally.
