the title and content of this story is really very very awkard in light of recent events. the more superstitious among us might say it was an omen. I don't, but I I do think our Lis might have drawn from personal experince at least a little bit to enhance her performance. I don't really know how i would feel if this were to end up being the last ever SJA episode

I can't believe she passed away so suddenly! I'm so glad that this show wound up with a finale and it didn't go unfinished. With all due respect to Billie Piper, Karen Gillan, etc. she was and always will be The Doctor's greatest companion. We won't forget you, Sarah Jane...we'll all miss Elisabeth Sladen and the mark she left on the Whoniverse is all but indelible!
