@renotavella South Tyrol has net input to Rome and gets back only 90% of taxes paid, even worse for social welfare: we pay over 200 millions more than we get back. All proven! There are many similarities to Scotland, as we are proud people who work hard and know how to party :-))

@jimponti: I'm from Veneto e we know how to party too... since we are the 2nd most industrialized region in Italy we give almost 50 times the taxes you pay and get back almost nothing... then we do not lose time complaining because we are hard workers. So don't complain: and if you leave Italy and go to Austria remeber that whole Italy would be happy of this... South Tyrol is a great problem for Italy as well as Campania and Calabria
