  • What a great interpretation!

  • Beautiful!

  • What the hell

    No trill???

I guess Ill have to learn it myself, it seems like no one adds the trill

  • excelente!

  • masterpiece, really great sound!

  • Perfect!

  • Wow man, this song is one of my favs classical masterpieces..

    Hail from Spain

  • QUE PENDEJAZO!

  • classical music should not be learned through tabs. nor should arrangements of a piece be played in different keys to simplify playing it. dont get me wrong, this is awesome, but i have yet to see a really good guitar arrangement of this song in the right key or with the right dynamics or without tabs.

  • @markus0neill Why shouldn't it be played in another key? Do you even know anything about guitar, if you aren't satisfied with this, then make your own version! Changing key is usually beneficial to an instrument so it may sound better or so as to not make it practically unplayable. You also realize that tab is what most every guitarist uses, and is the standard for any official transcription,

  • @markus0neill There are many tabs and tab programs that can show all the nuances you speak of but you can figure it out just by listening to the song which is what musicians should be doing seeing as how music is made to be heard and not read,

  • @markus0neill I hope I'm not coming off too asshole-like but it's just really annoying to me when people rattle on the same boring ass yarn of ,,Feeling'' and being ,,Proper'' I like this and many other versions because they all have their very own feeling to them and are pretty pants to me. A guitar is not a piano, nor is a piano a guitar, they shouldn't try to imitate each other because they are both unique.

  • @markus0neill Oh, and sorry for the weird way of replying three times, I made those three comments into one paragraph and cut and pasted the wrong places @.@

  • @TheEternalLeader s'all good. and i hear wat your saying, and to answer your first question, i do know a good bit about guitar. once upon a time i was lead guitar ina progressive metal band,(which i wrote all the music for) but that never worked out. now i prefer playing jazz, and classical. (i do electronic music for fun as well) iv also taken a collage 17th century music theory course. i like being well rounded.

  • @TheEternalLeader and there are things such as "proper" and "feeling" especially in classical music. when chopin decided to write a piece in Bb he did it for a specific reason. if key signatures really had no value in music other than when they are changing, every piece (except for those for enhancing technique) would be written in A minor, or C major for piano. or E minor and G major for guitar. granted its not too much of a difference, but its less impressive, and gives off a lazy vibe.

  • @TheEternalLeader and i learned how to play guitar with tabs, it was extrememly helpful back when im was more into rock and metal, and didnt know too much theory. but if your getting into classical music, and preforming it, you need to be able to read standard notation. in a dramatic sence, a guitarist who cant read music, preforming a classical piece of music, in the wrong key, is like an illiterate man quoting a book, but simplifying the passage to make it easier to say.

  • Nice, I'll play at my funeral. ops wait!?

  • ahhhh i love funerals... always put a smile on my face knowing the body on the casket was killed by me...

  • Do that on an electric like candlemass and it will be sick.

  • nice nice nice nice job.....

  • very very good!

  • nice!! good job!

  • well played.... I love this song on guitar especialy the trills nice nice

  • I oughtta say: That has this medieval, Tolkien-esque flair! It would feel right at home in Diablo, World of Warcraft, or Torchlight.

  • wow, that is beautiful.

  • 5/5 Truly Inspiring!

  • enter to my channel n listen the electronic version of this beautiful piece of art !!

  • check out the beginnings of my bands metal version of this...

  • Your self taught huh? ..not trying to insult just a regular question. lol

  • Big Wow! That sounds really good! Bravo

  • Bravissímo!!!

  • super travail enorme c de tt beauté !

  • Great job. I've been trying to find a guitar arrangement of this for quite some time. Is this your arrangement? If so, it's quite an accomplishment.

  • Try picking it up by ear or listening to the original Piano version. Unless you know how to read sheet music

  • No, it's not my arrangement. I have added tab link at the video info. Thanks...

  • Thank you for sharing your talent with us. This is a very well done piece by the wonderful Chopin. Bravo

  • VERY BEAUTY !

    CONGRATULATIONS ..

  • amazing, really made it sound like a piano

    i admire u in a way

  • increible amigo yo tengo un buen tiempo de querer tocar esta pieza FELICIDADES!

  • Excellent transcription and performance of a deceptively difficult piece. Thank you.

  • Loses a little bit of umph on the guitar. But VERY WELL done, seems like a terribly difficult piece to play on the guitar. Well done! Tres bien.

  • Très jolie.

  • lol ban lol video

  • C'est beau aussi à la guitare! Mais là, il manque le métronome, un peu dommage

  • Wonderful attempt. I know it is much more difficult on the guitar but it could do you no harm to work on the dynamics and phrasing. Obviously it depends whether you are playing this seriously or as a bit of a novelty. Good Luck. xXx

  • Outstanding!

  • Magnífico muito bom!

  • greaaat

  • Bien joué!

  • Very nice. But one tip- if you play something heavy sounding pick closer to the neck. Oh and try pointing your mic at the 12 fret not the soundhole cause it booms too much. Nice piece of work never the less. I like the funeral march on guitar.

  • this is an excellent interpretation to me...sometimes I wonder if Chopin doesn't sound better at the guitar!

  • Magnífico!

    Bravo, Bravissimo!

  • getting close on the transcription, good job though. don't keep that right hand so close to the bridge all of the time

  • Good Job

  • Keep it up dude, don't listen to all these tight assed know it alls. Yeah, this piece gets raped if it's played on guitar, but who cares? I mean, he does a pretty good job to me. And come on, it's not like as if you all paid 50 dollars to watch this guy perform or something. It's not perfect, but he's certainly not bad or something like that. Give him a break.

  • good man

  • Pfffff franchement GENIAL .... es ce que tu pourrais me donner les partitions s'il te plaît ? parce que vraiment c tro bien retranscri ... c toi qui la fai? waaaaaaa génial

  • Wish I could get this in tab =(

  • You can, just google it. probably have to get it in parts and hope that they're all in the same key.

  • i like bathory's version

  • That's really good.

  • Very cool!!!

  • Does anyone know where I might acquire the sheet music for this particular song?

  • for piano or guitar?

  • can I find a fake book version of this song for my jazz band?

  • very nice video... thanks for sharing your amazing talent... c c

  • Brawo Bravo Vivat Good Super Pozdro z Polski

  • Nice, buddy.

  • work on a steady flowing speed,,u sped up when it got hard

  • that sounds like darth vadar theme song

  • You're right the Imperial March sounds similar to the Funeral March. Maybe John Williams is a plagiarist.

  • "A good composer does not imitate; he steals."

    - Igor Stravinsky -

  • Great effort just need more practice.

  • im a pianist and sincerely...this man doesn't have an ear for music.

    tell me...am i not right?

  • I couldn't agree more. Poor guy. Shoulda been a drummer Haha.

Maybe even just a Bongo-ist (is that the right terminology LOL?)

  • Mhmm. i play both the guitar and piano.

It's quite impossible to play this kind of stuff on the guitar, so I wouldn't say he doesn't have an ear for music or anything.

But I do agree that it's kinda stupid to even attempt to play something like this on a guitar

  • Why it is so stupid?

  • Comment removed

  • yes - why is it so stupid? especially since guitars are so portable. If your home was aflame, there would be no dragging your piano to safety! But your guitar...

I wonder if something like that has ever happened. I think I might just pretend it did, and live contently in my romantic dream-land where people attempt to rescue their pianos from raging fires single-handedly, out of love and desperation.

  • its not bad, I'm sure if it were a 'big performance' it would need to be better, but for just chillin at home, i like it. Back the fuck off snippy

  • Tsapboy...Well, you should know...you music GOD, you.

  • Why must you even say that? If you don't like the video, then close it and leave town on the next fast train?? - - -

  • Thank you for this moment...

  • i love this xD

  • 35 seconds in he makes a serious timing error. He struggles with the piece afterwards. Look towards another guitarist if you need inspiration.

  • By the way, if someone is dumb enough to post a "well lets hear you play it better" in response to this. My inability to play a guitar (im a pianist) does not excuse this idiot from the debauchery heard here.

Also, if that isn't enough- No I don't have recordings of myself playing this piece on my piano. he does a better job on the guitar than I would on the piano... doesn't mean he is worth listening to or praising.

  • agree, but we shud all support each other as musicians,

    oh..i agree :D

  • Yes, i agree with you. Mais bon apres tout est super donc c'est pardonné, et si ya moyen d'avoir la tab ce serait avec un grand plaisir ^^

  • COOL

  • This was exelent while you played ,I enjoyed it very much.

  • just awesome !! I can only play the first 2 riffs for now

  • Where can i get the music for this piece for guitar?

  • Bravo!

    You are very talented.

  • complimenti corloene sei bravissimo

  • congratulation

  • I normally HATE classical pieces played on a guitar. Kind of a purist. I had never heard Chopin's piece played on the guitar before. Well done!

  • Was there not supposed to be a trill on the high F in the first position after the first 4 measures? I'm learning it from ear right now so any help would be apreciated sir.

  • Brilliant. Thank you.

  • How can I get the tabs fors this piece?

  • i thought i was dead

  • beethoven? like bethoven was a guitarist?;p

the peace is chopin's funeral march!

  • piece ;x

  • Do you know where can I find a tab of the song? I've been searching for weeks but I haven't found anything :(

  • Search for a partition of this piece... And learn to read it.

  • for the lulz

  • woooow i havent touched my guitar for a long time, after watching this amazing piece on the guitar i wanna go home and play now!!!!

  • thats one of the coolest things i've ever seen

  • WOW m8 great job:P

  • great work

  • do you know where i could get the music for this EXACT piece?

  • dang. this piece sounds hard to play on guitar. looks like it takes a lot of strength.

  • super grasz :) pewnie i tak nie rozumiesz co napisałam ale grasz niesamowicie :)

  • May i ask u something? Could u play like that the day of my burial? it might not be before long years but who knows... I want to reserve ur talent for that day

  • that's creepy :-|

  • I love "funeral" musics !!!

Listen Necropolish (theme of necropolis in HOMM)

  • Fantastic!!! have you got the tab of marche funebre???

  • Hi, great performance. Would it be possible to get the sheet music? It is easy to find for the piano, but there is not much around for the guitar. Thanks!

  • great

  • i like this piece so much <3

  • great start but goes abit hm on the 1.40 mark! but then great again well done from a felloe gr8 guitarist

  • amazing!

    you are very good ♥

  • Amazing!! Great job!! I've never heard it on guitar, It's not the same ike piano but it's allright. Very clean and apassionate!!

  • nice job man! sounds great..

  • This is one of my favorite pieces. Of course it represents death and tragedy in the first bit but you can hear after about 53 seconds the song gets brighter and would have you thinking of passing on to a better place, instead of darkness and death. Also note after 2:06 it does the same. Thats some good shit right thur...

    Nice playing

  • That was pretty good!

  • awesome dude!!! \m/

  • well done! i'd like to see this piece covered by Muse lol that would be something))

  • I gotta get this good at playing. I just got that very same guitar from a good friend of mine. Specially designed for classical pieces. It is a work of art, just like the music it was designed for.

  • Really a great guitar and very well played.

Amazed how nice it sounds. =]

  • Your guitar has a really deep sound. I love it :)

    ;-Demon

  • thats amazing, i played it well on the piano and thought it sounded good! IMMA GO LEARN THE GUITARD NOW!

  • Any piece of music can be played whether or not it is for a particular instrument. It is just what the composer had in mind. I believe this is a really good interpretation!

  • I second your opinion.

  • wow! this is good! you're cool!

  • Bellissimo, uno italiano talent ! Forza mi amici !!!!

  • Sorry Mate but this version just sux. It's not Chopin's Funeral March, but it sometimes sounds a bit like it, and sometimes it's just 'wtf is that supposed to be?'. You tried to play it in maximum simplicity, and one can hear that ;/

    3/10, mby 3+.

  • Wow Tagnar, way to be a dumbass. Have you heard the funeral march before?

  • It's one of my favourite tracks. Have you heard it before ? :/

  • I've seen the sheet music too. Which version would you prefer?

  • I agree with u it doenst sound like the original version its like the modernday butcherd version

  • Original version is played by piano instrument. So it's normal to hear different sounds with guitar. And if u listen a flute version, you'll probably hear any other different sounds. THESE ARE THE INSTRUMENT DIFFERENCES.

  • No worries, Dude. It sounds great. Screw the naysayers.

  • In maximum simplicity.... he deserves some respect just for playing a classical piece on the guitar.

  • please send me the tab.also is it just me, or does it sound like muse was influenced by this

  • i get to play this at my moms wedding...sweet

  • It's not as powerfull & deep as the piano version, but sure it is fresh to hear it played on the guitar once.

    Well done.

  • damnation a.d. plyd ds on d guitar..i tnk d album s "no more dreams"itz nyz...
