  • damn for a guy that size... he jumps so high on 4:17

  • thumbs up if your happy this guy is gonna be in 2k12 and you will put em against isiah thomas, magic johnson, spud webb and derrick rose and deron williams.

  • I loved it when he talked about Reggie Miller, so on point.

  • Muggsy is from Baltimore like me.

  • Comedian Dom Irrera had this anecdote about Muggsy:

"I was telling my friend about Muggsy Bogues, 5'3", plays in the NBA. And he goes "What, is he fast?" "No, he's a SLOW, FAT, LUMBERING 5'3", he's got a plantar's wart in the arch of his foot."

  • David Stern never changed his hairstyle in his life

  • if he was 6'5" hed be one of all-time best!!!

  • whenever i see muggsy i cant help but to laugh great player tho but wow is he short

  • 1987 should be the 5th best draft ever behind the 1979 (4th), 2003 (3rd), 1996 (2nd), and 1984 (1st)...not to mention 1996 had more talented rookies than any other draft

  • @billslover90 don't forget '85 some hall of famers came from that draft!!

  • hahahaha, hindsight is 20/20. don't think think too many pacers fans were upset they didn't have steve alford instead of reggie.

  • even though he's the smallest in NBA who cares! Show him what you got and guard if you can.

  • @ledbetterbrothers the screen listed his height as 63'', which is 63 inches, which is 5'3''. they got it correct.

  • @ledbetterbrothers

Not quite, both his height and vertical leap are listed in inches. 63'' is 5 foot 3.

It looks like 6'3'' because the number 6 is placed against a white/gray background (his suit), which makes it look like an apostrophe there, when there is not.

  • Sports TV has changed so much!

  • Well, Reggie was a super duper great player. I've never even heard of Steve Alfred

  • @goodfellabeats

Hahahaha......Well, Red you know how super duper Reggie turned out to be

  • @goodfellabeats Alford's currently the head coach at New Mexico.

  • God I love Muggsy. He started at the point for the Charlotte Hornets from 89-90 - 96-97.

  • for a 5'3 prodigy he was a magic johnson but shorter!!!!

  • Oh i know he's short. But how good was he? If he was 6ft 1 would anyone know his name?

  • Great speed, good passer, does lots of steals and if he was taller he would be a impresive scorer.

  • oh man...he was one hell of a player.

  • amazing he would have over 20 poits 11 assists and very good at defence 3.1 steals.

  • 44in vertical!!!!

  • Obscure pick? He was a starter for at least 5 years in the NBA. Earl Boykins barely started any games, same for Spud Webb, both around his height.

  • hollywood need to do a biopic on muggsy.

  • I can't think of many other players who had as big of an impact on the game without it really showing up in the box score as Muggsy did.

  • Projected to be a 2nd rounder and goes as the 12th pick. Where were the draft analysts during these days?

  • In retrospect it is really funny that they talk about some other "clutch" player being picked over Reggie. Based on how he carried his team he could have been the 2nd pick.

  • I agree. He led his team to the Eastern Conf. Finals 5 times, 3 50 win seasons and the NBA's all-time leader in 3 point field goals. And I am not sure how Red Auerbach thought the Big Ten was more powerful than the ACC.

  • es que nadie habla español??

  • thanks for postin these classic vids :D

  • all right! muggsy!
