How is Rimmer able to walk around on the planet without a holographic transmitter or cage? Last time in Season 2 when they got hammered on the asteroid, Rimmer was in a holographic cage. Now Red Dwarf is on the other side of the galaxy (yet somehow Holly is still connected!) and he walks around freely.

Shortly afterwards, Kryten, the service mechanoid who had left the ship after being rescued from his own crashed vessel, the NOva 5, is found in pieces after his space bike crash lands onto an asteroid. Lister rebuilds the 'noid, but is unable to recapture his former personality.

However, because the twins were conceived in another universe, with different physical laws, they suffer from highly accelerated growth rates, and are both eighteen years old within three days of being born. In order to save their lives, Lister returns them to the universe of their origin, where they are reunited with their father (a woman), and are able to lead comparatively normal lives.

I've never actually taken the time to try and read it before. Kind of explains stuff a bit.

But if anyone here has ever read the books that the shows are based on then they'll know the real reason that Lister has to go to the backwards world.

I don't understand why that woman in the cafe when they are showing her drinking tea backwards, it is going all down her chin all over her? Surely she was drinking it normally and then they played ut backwards, so why would she get it all over her? Maybe I'm being thick lol but I don't get it!

its funny, when the waitress comes and "dirties" the table, she dumps the garbage one it. if you play it backwards, (which would be forwards in that dimension/planet) she would be sucking up the garbage with her box...
