@tskren I work for the shows and people come up to me and ask why these motorcycles don't have wheels on them. I lost count how many times I kept telling them the same thing. This is just a motor show. Each year big motorcycle companies draw and show the public their newest or future design so it doesn't necessarily have to run. It is just a DESIGN!! Let me say this. You got a thing that has a blade, but it is so dull and just not sharp enough to cut anything. You still call that a knife??

@NinjaBoyFuto actually it does matter. this is honda (not disney) the leading bike manufacturer in the world. the rim needs to be ferrous and be driven by electro-magnets. the tyre is enclosed by the fiberglass cover with a cutaway at the contact point with the road which needs to be cut higher towards the rim to facilitate better cornering. the braking is a return to rim braking similar to that on cycles.

potentially, this design has few moving parts and weaknesses than conventional designs
