Are you trying to move it under the bottom layer? Is the bottom layer named Background? If so, double click on the bottom layer and unlock it. The bottom layer is automatically locked, and you have to unlock it to edit it.
Your layer is locked because it is the background layer. Double click on that layer. A window will come up labeled, "new layer" you can name the layer if you want, or just choose the defalt name "layer 0". Click o.k. Now the layer is unlocked!
Hi, thanks for your help. Just had one question. When i open my photos they are locked and the unlock button is greyed out. Is there anyway to unlock them so i can do something? Thanks
Hello, there are many ways to print. I personally don't print from Adobe Photoshop. I use Adobe Lightroom to print. I do have a special printer for my 12x12 designs, but I use a smaller printer for my 8x10 designs. Any printer and print program will work, just depends on the quality you want. Thanks for looking!
Hey...um is this on Adobe Photoshop 7? Because my teacher Mr. Nordyke is making us do a mutation project. [ie. horse with a buffalo] can you teach me that?
Just click on the layer of the image you want to resize, like I did in the video. Make sure the layer in NOT linked to other layers. To do so, make sure that there is not a little icon that looks like a chain to the left of the layer. Use the move tool to resize only one image, like in the video. Also make sure you have only one image per layer. Thanks!
Thank you for asking! I have made 7 different template sets. They are easy and inexpensive. They are for sale on e-bay. Just go to e-bay and search for
2 CD sets digital scrapbooking
You will see a list of 4 of my items currently for sale. To see the others, click on my other items.
Click on the photo layer, then click on the "T" (text) tool. This will automatically make a text layer for you to type your text. Let me know if you need further help!
Great many thanks!! wow that pretty easy for me to set up .. i wonder how to do put text on front of photo?? can you explain me please , you are Gem! keep up good work ! you are best !!
Click on the layer you want to move, and drag it down below the layer you want it under, still holding down the mouse button. When you have it where you want it, release the mouse button. A little practice, and it's a breeze.
how come when i open my picture files they are unlock?? i tried clicking the lock key or something and it didn't work!!! how do you unlock the picture file???
Are you saying that the layer is locked? If so, double click on the background layer, this will unlock it. If this does not answer your question, please clarify what if locked, and I will try to help.
Yes. Once you click on the move tool, check on the box that says Show Bounding Box. It is on the upper left, right after Auto Select Layer. Let me know if you need any other help. Thanks.
