Just made these, they came out pretty great! Only thing is the mixture was a little thin so they came out really thin, crepe style. Maybe its because i didnt add the flak seed or honey. Otherwise they're great! Excellent video
@youngharzard Yeah I couldn't cook to save my life a few years ago so I started with the basics and just work my way up. It's really helped both my cooking skills and my diet!
Hey Brandon, how's it going? I wanted to ask you what is your view on artificial sweeteners be it something natural like stevia to something chemically enhanced like aspartame?
@CampbellFitness i loose weight constantly and maintain muscle with this lifestyle, all my carbs come from fruit. Where else does one expect to get energy? If you're feeling tired throughout your day or napping you're not eating proper foods / getting good sleep.
I tried this recepie and i must say it tasted pretty good. The banana taste didnt really fit in with the pancake, so i suggest people to replace the banan with blueberries etc.
I did add peanutbutter to the batter witch gave it a nice flavour and profile.
I've already tried this, it is delicious, congrtz! But I've a question for you CampbellFitness, there is no problem take this pancakes as my pre-workout?
@rfbmrodrigo It's not a problem, but I'd just make sure you have a little bit of time before hitting the gym (45 min or so) as these are pretty heavy and will sit in your stomach.
@nairb2693 There's a few different options you can use. One would be just take the oatmeal out. You can make these "pancakes" with just eggs (or egg whites) and protein powder. Another option some people like to do is use fat free cottage cheese as well.
@watyomamagot I rounded up the macros in the description box, but based off the ingredient list and divided by the total number of pancakes I made, they each turned out to be about 250 calories.
hey man! Thanks for the recipe! Look, if i dont use flax and honey how many calories should i detract from the nutritional fact you posted? If I add more oats (let's say another half cup) will it go even calories-wise with not having the honey and flax?
@maeishoj The flax accounts for about 90 calories overall with 8 grams of fat and the honey accounts for about 120 cal and 30 grams of carb total. So divide those numbers by how many bars you plan on making.
@johncena04red My friend sells it at his supplement shop. I believe it's a RI brand, but I believe they have a website with more info. Look up the Go Nuts brand.
Really like these vids mate, thanks for uploading them! Gonna be getting into these vids soon once Im free for summer and have a load of time to be bulking up! Subbed ;)
@CampbellFitness Brandon, i made these this morning and they turned out well. They are certainly not the usual pancake that I am used to but still really good. thanks for the recipe!
Brandon, this is awesome. I thought I could not have pancakes anymore, but this would work. I am allergic to bananas, so I won't include them, but I can definitely see myself eating these as a great protein source besides just eating eggs all the time. Question: Instead of using honey as the batter sweetener, can I use it as a syrup replacement, or would that change the calorie makeup in anyway?
@ganthc The calories would remain the same if you used it for a syrup. Just be careful on how much you use. If you look at one of my other replies, typically when I make these for myself I just make enough for 1 extra large pancake. It's easy to go overboard on these and put too many calories/fat/carbs in them. Play around with the ingredients to get something that works for you.
@CampbellFitness Thanks. I would try and put the honey on the side (about how much you used) and just dip the pancakes so that I don't overdo it. I would try this out this weekend, but my roommate broke my blender so I am waiting on the new one he ordered to come in.
These look awesome. I am going to make me a batch of these in the next two hours. I really enjoy these cooking/bodybuilding diet videos. Keep them up. And I will keep you posted on what you asked me to earlier. I get really paranoid about USPS also.
@HomeGymFitness These are just trouble if you're on a cut. I had all 3, so it was 750 cal, 90 grams of protein, 90 carbs and 20 grams of fat. Although by cutting out bananas and flax it would dramatically reduce some of those numbers.

In what store did you find that peanut butter?
6packbeast 2 weeks ago
@6packbeast These might be only local to RI as it's a Rhode Island company that makes them. I just got it at my local grocery store.

@CampbellFitness No wonder because I went to Costco, Publix, Walmart and BJs and I couldn't find it. But thanks for the great recipe :)

I would like to ask would wholemeal plain flour do the same trick rather than the oatmeal?
Or would you suggest sticking to the oatmeal for the pancakes?

@TheMarkusCachow I'd suggest the oatmeal, but if the wholemeal flour fits into your macros for the day, then it should be ok.
