Victoria principal must be asking herself " what have I done to Andy?" there have been reports that she's boozing again - out of guilt perhaps -for what she did to Andy? She can't escape memories of Andy- with the Internet, you tube and all .......and especially when she's alone ....She is and will be haunted the rest of her life.....

I always liked Victoria Principal. Barry Gibb gave an interview for Biography and he only had nice things to say about her. I think she loved him but the drugs were hard for her to deal with.

I very much doubt Andy would ''abuse'' anyone, perhaps you need to re think that term. Andy came from a good family with values. Drugs can change someone, and the person becomes something else. But that is not the real person. The real person is still inside.

this is my own opinion. true none of his fans knows what happened in real life and what went on in their relationship behind closed doors,and we never will,however thare are little things you can pick up that these are two completely different ppl that should've never have gotten together. i believed she knew being w/ him would put her in the spotlight. he even said in an interview that she was quite an ambious girl and i'm sure she used him as a stepping stone R.I.P. andy we miss your heart

After reading countless interviews I think he was more into her than she was into him. I think they cared for one another. It's hard to see; she's not the most open person.

He is so freaking adorable here!!! She is so annoying....that laugh is so fake. I really can't believe how hard he fell for her b/c in all of these interviews she seems like she wouldn't be a good match for him at all. He is so sincere, genuine and warm....and well.... she is just the exact opposite.

@starquant You're right....I don't know her at all. I never recall using the word hate in my comment either. My point is simply that she doesn't seem like a good match for him. I'm sure she has many regrets and If she had a chance to do things over the outcome may very well be different. But the picture she painted in those days through her comments and interviews was not a favorable one. She said many hurtful things about Andy and seemed only interested in her own public image.

@loveandygibb " Hate " is a modern day term, when people criticize or judge a female on any little thing. You Call her annoying and " not a good match"...how would you know?. People "hated" Yoko and Courtney and Nancy Spungeon for the same reasons. It's all the same day as I see it. These women stood by and supported the men they were with. A women blaming another woman for a mans failures, is like a snake eating it's own tail.

Respond to this video... Also< I am also a fan of Andy, a huge fan. But I know he was an Alcoholic, drug abuser and left a wife and child in England. What was he doing to Victoria?, what ever it was she was too dignified to say anything in public !. What she did do, was to support him in public. Yes , it did seem a little "forced", perhaps she was cajoled to appear by Andy, in the promise that he would not verbally abuse her. ( and BTW he did, all the time).

I love him but I still have a hard time with Victoria, just don't like how she treated him, and she proclaimed how much she loved him and when it got bad for Andy and he needed help she just walked away when she could have atleast tried to help him get better if she loved him like she should have. Just my opinion. Thanks for letting us see everything that we missed through the years.

@gibbgirl541 At 4.35 VP looks like she got a little "ticked: at Andy for what he said about being 'ready now' and she gave him that look. Then after Andy took a drink of his water he said "I'm not going to say nothing". LOL Bless his heart, she seemed to try to make him act her age not his own which would have been about 23 yrs. old, correct?

Ditto! I don't know that anyone as narcissictic as she is could really love anyone else? Andy said later that she did whatever it took to get to the top so by that time he had figured her out....I like to think that if she could "love" it would have been him or maybe she "loved" him as much as was possible for her which doesn't seem like much. -like I said I probably should have kept my mouth shut but I really think you nailed it that she loves herself and what others can give to her.

@frogledy Agreed!  Andy could sing, act, and had a wonderful personality and heart, something VP only tried to imitate. In her case, my opinion is that you can't "judge a book by its cover". Yes she was pretty and had a nice figure, but I believe that is as deep as it went....Andy on the other hand was the total package!!

He also seems so excited and animated here and I love how he says, "Don't you know?" at about 2:30...I'm not sure what it means but he said that a lot when he performed and I also love how he teased her about her singing...not sure if she was amused or "got" his sense of humor but we appreciate it, eh?

Ahh Gayle! I so love this video clip! I think it shows his sense of humor, his caring side, his playful side, and more. This was his first and only (?) record that he produced too and I think he was so proud of it...thx for showing this clip...and yes i agree that we need the complete picture of his life...I don't think he would have it any other way...thx so much!

Loved Andy here....what a sweet, gorgeous man he was. I never have and never will care for VP though. I loved how Andy said that he father "came to all his shows". His father had every reaon on earth to be proud of his family and his wonderful sons! So glad Andy never married VP.
