God has answered prayers. he performs miracles. you may call them coincidence, but i am 101% sure of what i believe in and nothing you say can change that. there may not be loads of physical or visible proof, but thats what faith is. faith is believing in what you know is true but you cannot see.

With spelling I basically just go with what looks right once it's been written down. It's harder with people's names though because there can be a lot of varriations to the same name. Take the name Aaron for example. I've seen no fewer than 10 different spellings for that name.

Hey. So I know it's been a while, but I FINALLY got around to listening to those songs (stupid schoolwork holding me back for a week), and I really liked the Jon Foreman one. It was a very nice and peaceful little tune. The Switchfoot guy has a really interesting voice, and it's deeper than what I'm used to hearing most men sing with. Not bad at all. I still think that I like Moon is a Magnet better, though they're both quite good. Thanks for the recommendations.

You know, music today kind of sucks for the reason that almost NO ONE sounds as good live as they do on the iPod or the CD. I consider it the mark of a true and great artist if they can sing just as well live as they can on the technology.

I don't like most rap at all, but I'm okay with early Eminem. The only major problem I have with his stuff is the bad language. Another mark of a good artist is if they can write well without resorting to swearing to get a point across. Owl City and Relient K are good in that sense. And yeah, I don't usually like the electronic stuff either, but I'll listen to Owl City, Daft Punk, and Kraftwerk without any complaints. Do you know anything from those other two?
Swearing in music does kind of put a damper on things, because I've learned that people who resort to excessive swearing tend to have a lesser vocabulary, so they can't find any other way to express themselves. None of my favourite artists ever really swear in their music, and if they do, it's very mild. No racial slurs or F bombs.

@MrPoketodo i know God exists and he loves us very much. lots of people have had personal experiences with God that are indescribable. God has answered prayers. he performs miracles. you may call them coincidence, but i am 101% sure of what i believe in and nothing you say can change that. there may not be loads of physical or visible proof, but thats what faith is. faith is believing in what you know is true but you cannot see.

And I don't believe in forcing my 'religion' on people, but it would just feel wrong not to let people know that Jesus forgives them, no matter how messed up they are (like myself). But, I walk through my school everyday and see Physically and mentally disabled children deprived of a normal life and I think " what god would do this?" . With spelling I basically just go with what looks right once it's been written down. It's harder with people's names though because there can be a lot of varriations to the same name. Take the name Aaron for example. I've seen no fewer than 10 different spellings for that name.

Hey. So I know it's been a while, but I FINALLY got around to listening to those songs (stupid schoolwork holding me back for a week), and I really liked the Jon Foreman one. It was a very nice and peaceful little tune. The Switchfoot guy has a really interesting voice, and it's deeper than what I'm used to hearing most men sing with. Not bad at all. I still think that I like Moon is a Magnet better, though they're both quite good. Thanks for the recommendations.

@Cereghini Understood. Everyone today either raps (which isn't singing. Its just talking really fast with terrible grammar), or is like Owl City and uses a computer. I love Adam Young, but thats the only computerized artist that I'll listen to.
And I REALLY want to see Relient K live. One of my friends saw Relient K live and said that Matt Thiessen sounds just as great live as he does on CD.
There are also videos of Matty T and Adam Young singing together. Its great :)

I don't like most rap at all, but I'm okay with early Eminem. The only major problem I have with his stuff is the bad language. Another mark of a good artist is if they can write well without resorting to swearing to get a point across. Owl City and Relient K are good in that sense. And yeah, I don't usually like the electronic stuff either, but I'll listen to Owl City, Daft Punk, and Kraftwerk without any complaints. Do you know anything from those other two?

Swearing in music does kind of put a damper on things, because I've learned that people who resort to excessive swearing tend to have a lesser vocabulary, so they can't find any other way to express themselves. None of my favourite artists ever really swear in their music, and if they do, it's very mild. No racial slurs or F bombs.
Check out Kraftwerk's song "Radioactivity" and tell me what you think. I'm warning you now though: it's kind of a scary song. You'll see what I mean.
