the smaller ones tend to sleep like that for example chihuahuas, daschund dogs, bulldogs, and pomeranians all are back sleepers my pomeranian (dont own her anymore) used to sleep like that all the time my German Shepherd only turns on her back when she playin she never does it for anyone else but me
