This reminds me of my childhood, going out a few days before the big day for a walk around the snow covered countryside I lived in, and then cutting off an array of Holly to decorate our house with on returning.. Sucks so much to grow up....
Aled Jones always used to run off with the football in school! We were very jealous of his success back then, but this song really has stood the test of time. It was filmed in the Ogwen valley, Snowdonia, North Wales. I'm looking forward to heading up there in a few weeks when it snows! Thanks for the upload.
@davemckiernan I've stayed in North Wales, and visited the area where Aled Jones was brought up. It's a beautiful region. Didn't get to see the Ogwen Valley sadly. A pity this video wasn't filmed in the snow, as I assume in the Snowdonia area that you do get snowfalls most winters.

There is a definate difference between this version and the original by Peter Auty (from the Snowman). Aled Jones sings with a slight lis, barely noticable but Peter is definately purer when he sings. Don't get me wrong, I still love this version. Aled and Peter are both wonderful singers.

you mean a slight lisp? if you're talking about the 'r's, which i don't think you are, that's intentional, trilled 'r's. but he doesn't have a lisp.
and i'm nt trying to change your opnion or attack it, i just thought i'd tell you. he was Britain's best reble in 50 years, so he's pretty pure alright.
