People just don't realize how tough and cruel Q school is. Every year when you look at the Q school entries you see former great players and Ryder Cup players having to battle just to get their card. If they don't get their card they have to wait another year very often the lack of competative play in that year will mean they are not match tough. Being on the edge of tour level is a very tough cruel place to be and fate is fickle. Ross is good at showing what it is really like.
