i think using one robot really wouldnt help in trying to beat sonic sure sonic and tails would notice the constant time eater taking eggman but eggman might have had a better chance in beating sonic using more than one of his robots

I still like the original BG music better (even though I was here a few years ago...)

I can't count the times I cussed during this fight...my mom came in and said "young ladies don't cuss." I told her to try it (she's an old gamer) and she felt my pain.^^

Except that you can't stop them, you can only Quick Step. And then he raises platforms that lead to his weak point (like the Perfect Chaos battle), but on the other hand he shoots you with the laser and rockets. If you get the green wisp, you could fly to collects some orbs and if you can get enough, you can blast him with a laser. And so on....

Also, every time you stop one of his 7phases, you get a wisp and you get to use it's color power against him. For instance, The Nega-Wisp Armor uses the orange wisp to fire multiple homing missiles at you. But if you can attack him and free the wisp, you can use the rocket color power to boost into him (kinda like the Time Eater), or just fly into his cockpit. He could use the Green Wisp to throw things at you (like the Silver boss fight) con....

I would've actually preferred them to use the Nega-Wisp Armor (Final Boss) from Sonic Colors.

1. This boss is cool, but there's nothing special in it (riding a skateboard,riding rockets, riding a rollercoaster etc)

2. They could've used all wisps while fighting him (Well at least the ones with Color Powers). He would have 7 phases for each of the 7 wisps (or 9 if include the DS exclusive wisps), and for the last attack, FINAL COLOR BLASTER! For Hard mode, he takes 21 hits to be destroyed.

@Funkermonster Thing is, Egg Dragoon was designed to destroy Sonic from all the data he has ever gotten. Only reason he was beaten the first time was the Werehog.

It is the ulimate battle for normal Sonic.

Now it would have been cool for the Nega Wisp Armor, but that was the final boss of Sonic Colors, which came out like last year. He also doesn't have the dangerous backstory Egg Dragoon had. But I don't know why they didn't use it for the 3DS.

@Skyhawk4000 It doesn't matter that if it was released last year or if it had no backstory. The game took place before Sonic Generations, so they still could've put it in instead of Egg Dragoon. They could've used the all of the wisps in the game, and it lets you use a color power to attack him for every phase he has. That would be way better than the original fight.

Jeez, why so much hate for Omochao. Not EVERYONE's played Sonic before, so obviously the game's not going to spit you onto this wide open world full of mad, dangerous levels and not tell you shit. It asks at the beginning 'do you want a tutorial' if no, then cool. But it's nice that they put it in there for those who wouldn't know how to play it. But anyway, I gotta admit this boss was more impressive than Unleashed's one and is probably my favourite boss so far

But for someone who is unfamiliar with the platforming/adventure gaming genre, and wanted to give Sonic a try, Omochao is helpfull.

What I dont get is why with the option to turn it off, people still complain about it. Besides, in SA2, the only way to hear it talk is if you touch it, or if you lose at boss fights, and if you lost at that, you clearly needed the advice.
