The Theists that will try and aggressively convert you tend to be the most insecure of their believe so they attempt to recruit to reinforce that belief or the older generation who cannot understand our point of view (Different generation). As a Christian i think it is ok to present my beliefs but not push it upon others. After its on the table you can do what you want with it. I have a similar complaint about atheist though. It seems like all atheist even try to do is complain about how stupid religious people and attack our beliefs. It was like I was being shown by some other presence what was up. I was so stubborn until then, God showed himself to me through his Word, through people, through choices in I had to make in my life, but I always turned away from Him openly because I was selfish. I wanted MY way, my life, my will be done ultimately. God finally struck a chord in my heart and I still have selfish times, but He always seems to draw me back. I stake my faith in Him, not preachers on churches. That's ridic. to me.
That's a good question. Actually, it wasn't either. If God actually talked to me with his voice, I'd probably shit my pants. And I find most ministers and preachers boring. I totally agree with you, this country is about freedom of speech and the Catholic religion SHOULD be about free will. TRUE Catholics and Christians, though, really do care about you. I completely agree. We simply state the facts and let people decide, while religious people are always trying to force us to follow their believes through fear of hell and damnation. Fair enough. I think, Earth would be better than any heaven with just the removal of money. This most evil invention has no value & is totally non-productive. As far as an afterlife possibility. The only thing I'm open too at this point is energy, zodiac & horoscope based. Meaning, the universe is just energy like our brain process & just cycles indefinitely. The disappointing flaw being, we can't take it with us (yet). But, would regular or multiple EMP's reset everything or everyone?

Im an atheist, I watched that other video, I will say though that he wasnt really shoving it down anyones throat. I kinda randomally came across it myself, and it was easy to realize early on what angle he was gonna be presenting. Personally, I actually love it when people try to talk to me about religion.

Your right it is your choice, but if there are people out there questioning our beliefs as Christians, we have to right to defend ourselves too. Its not trying to conform people, its trying to save people. It is our job as Christians to spread the word, however you have the choice to say no ur absolutely right, God gave us free will. It was like I was being shown by some other presence what was up. I was so stubborn until then, God showed himself to me through his Word, through people, through choices in I had to make in my life, but I always turned away from Him openly because I was selfish. I wanted MY way, my life, my will be done ultimately. God finally struck a chord in my heart and I still have selfish times, but He always seems to draw me back. I stake my faith in Him, not preachers on churches. That's ridic. to me.

That's a good question. Actually, it wasn't either. If God actually talked to me with his voice, I'd probably shit my pants. And I find most ministers and preachers boring. Granted, they speak the Word which I appreciate, but they go on and on never reaching their point. I enjoy only a few priests and preachers that make a clear, concise point on the scriptures.
I actually felt the calling in my heart. It was like a soft spot in my heart just caved in for God and for everyone around me.

But isn't it funny how the bible has no context. Its context is interpreted by those who purport to believe in it. Every other book is fixed to a period but not the bible. So its instruction and teachings will always change. Why? because men will always adjust it, just like how MEN created it in the first place.

Goes down well with - God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And yes,Man has misinterpreted/twist/modified/falsified the holy scriptures (a pity, eh!). So Christians always talk about converting everyone, and atheists are tired of being preached at. At least understand why though. If I knew someone cut the breaks to your car I would tell you. Yes you have the free will to get in the car and drive it anyway, but how would I live with myself if I didn't at least warn you. You're free to be atheist, I'm free to be a christian, but please be patient with us. We don't mean to annoy, just to warn...don't get in the car.

I totally agree with you, this country is about freedom of speech and the Catholic religion SHOULD be about free will. TRUE Catholics and Christians, though, really do care about you. They don't want you to 'conform', they, in their hearts, want to bring you to 'salvation' through Jesus. Even if you don't care what is after death, they do, and they care what's for you too. They don't mean any harm. No reason to get mad. I think we should listen to everyone's opinion closely, atheist or catholic.

I am not able to convert you, change your views on life, nor do I want to. You, just as I, have been given free will to be an Atheist or Christian or whatever. God loves everyone, and so must I. The only thing Christians are able to do is pray in their heart for others, constantly. It doesn't involve anyone but the one making the prayer and God. And that's the beauty of it, God calls us on his own time, and we are given the choice to accept it or not. We are called to love/accept no matter what

I completely agree. We simply state the facts and let people decide, while religious people are always trying to force us to follow their believes through fear of hell and damnation. We don't get pissed when people say there is a God, yet they get angry at the thought of us questioning their beliefs WITH PROOF. This obviously means they are not secure in their beliefs nor do they open their eyes to the scientific evidence that has proven evolution. 100s of religions, what makes one so right?
