@KaliaMigold If your hair is really hard to curl, I would spray it once before, and then once after. The trick is to spray it LIGHTLY, only ONCE, and at least a foot away from your hair. You want it to MIST the hair, not soak it.

@xokotaisapimpxo A trick I use to keep my hair length even when it's curled is that for the bottom layer, I curl is loosely starting from halfway down. This will make sure it doesnt spiral up as much.
