well, it's like this, i'm recording live, someone else is running the soundboard, you have an 89-year old opera singer not fond of microphones, and yes, i have volume controls on my camera, but maybe you noticed that even where i had it set she limited out several times. not quite as simple as focusing a camera on a record player, and there are no do overs to get it right . . .
so yeah I looked at this because I have to practice this and it was pretty good.

the song is awesome but she has a gut wrenching swooping vibrato and is a bit off. nice emotion but difficult to listen to for an educated musician
