While I do think that Colin overates Brett Farve, he is right that Brett is a great fit for the Vikings. Jackson can get better but the truth is he's not ready now and this team is built for Brett.
Ok, so Brett Didn't sign with the Vikings this year, but I have to say that It was BRETT who made the decision. HE played for 18 years, and he didn't like the daily grind anymore. This has nothing to do with playing for the Vikings, he had enough and he wanted to retire.
If Childress thinks we are that stupid, he should be selling lemonade at the Metrodome, rather than coaching the team. Sage Rosenfels with Adrian Peterson is like Joey Harrington with Walter Payton! You have one of, if not the most talented running backs in the game, and a QB who could not hit the side of a bus with a pebble.
If I were Childress, I'd be Favre's phone off the hook every 20 minutes to get him to come in.
