These cheap theatrics have little real effect, other than create martyrs and unecessary confrontation. In our representative democracy, you can organize and run for office, or contact your elected officials with your concerns. It takes more thought and effort than shouting and camping out.
If all these smart occupy people, were really smart, they would all go home and run for elections as a party; as as the next generation of elected officials, who make laws and policy, who could effect change in a civil way without disenfranchising and violating people rights who they claim to represent. People have jobs, they want to keep because they have families to feed, like the policemen who are doing there job, who are contributing to society paying taxes that help the less fortunate.

the parks & camps should be set up to be burned in a massive fire ... when the cops enter ... prepaired stuctures of crates ... palettes ... obsticles ... should be torched ... then the campers move to the other side of the city & occupy a new site the same night ... while the police & fire department are trying to put down the blazes & round up suspects ... a new camp can be set up by morning ... as long as people are not hurting people or nature ... obsticles are a must !!!

If all these smart occupy people, were really smart, they would all go home and run for elections as a party; as as the next generation of elected officials, who make laws and policy, who could effect change in a civil way without disenfranchising and violating people rights who they claim to represent. People have jobs, they want to keep because they have families to feed, like the policemen who are doing there job, who are contributing to society paying taxes that help the less fortunate.
