@catclan2 Gunnar acts pretty depressed about his condition. Gunnar's "depression" is what spurs Antsy on to action, what gets Antsy to start a whole slew of time donations to Gunnar's cause. Gunnar might not, in fact, be depressed, but to say why would ruin the book! :)

@mermerlibrarian he was never depressed, he accepted his sickness and antsy felt guilty and then decided to give Gunnar a month of life.
