Good ol' Iceview swimming pool. i was hoping you'd go by the Big Dipper (its not the big dipper now but everybody knows thats what it is). yeah, i miss hamilton
Eastview was the GREATEST! I miss it so much and pyramid hill has amazing lights around christmas but its a bit pricey for what they put up. I cant believe ya missed richards lol
I discovered your stuff about eight months ago. I never commented on them, but I love all your videos. I grew up in Hamilton, graduated from
Badin. What I love about your videos is that there is humor with a thread of melancholy running through-or at least some of them made me feel melancholic. Maybe it's because I don't live in Hamilton any more.
Hell yeah I remember parkamo, I grew up on allstatter. Sucks to hear about van buren lots of memories of that place. Eastview was awesome I love that place i used to go clog up the fountain to make it shoot higher. God i miss hamiltucky
I'm 22 and safety town has not always been there, they put it there to teach children on bikes traffic laws, I'm not sure how long it's been there though.
There is a really old cemetery, called Goos Road Cemetery, it's kinda hidden, it's in the middle of the woods off Hamilton-Cleves. it has German on most the tombstones, and most are dated before the Civil War. Pretty cool.
i never thought someone would make a video like this one. i've lived in hamilton all my life and still am. i went to pierce elementary, went to Washington, then garfield, and ill be a senior next year at HHS.
i was raised in hamilton lived there from the age 12-18 went to wilson and garfield and then hhs i still got family there mostly on the west side. i went back for my brothers wedding about 8 yrs ago when i was 21. and your videos kinda depress me. it seems to me like hamilton is just fading away. great memories there thanks for your video!
I was born, and raised in Hamilton. I've always lived on the west side, and I'm still living there, at age 18. I went to McKinely Kindergarten center, St. Pete's, Homeschooling, Cleveland Elementary, St. Joe's, Badin, and now I'm at HHS.
I grew up in Hamilton. Left in 1965 to move out-of-state. Am 65 years old now. Appreciate your 2-part video very much. Used to go to Eastview, and even to the the public pool on the West side. Next time, show the WPA murals painted inside the post office -- they're very fine. Thank you very much for this tour!
our pleasure.. - thanks for leaving us a comment.. - your right, the post office has a very retro feel.. they haven't changed it in at least twenty years.. - my beloved eastview as of this year is no longer.. - they're building Eastview Elementary on its former site..
Born & raised in Hamilton. Graduated Hamilton Taft '67. Now live in Alaska, been here 33 years. Was back this past August, hot and humid as usuall. Enjoyed the video!

YOU ACTUALLY DRANK OUT OF THAT FOUNTAIN! GROSS! BTW, the city cleans that thing on the newer dam so there isn't a lot of fish on it.
