  • Nice i love it

  • Love this demo. I've watched it over and over and over. Love the sounds and the melodies!

  • Vintage techno sounds right here.

  • is the arpreggio programmable?

  • it really is a lovely sequence. i heard it four times in a row... bravo! send me the midi please, i'm just getting started and that would be a good help...

  • amazing. you DEFINATELY not only play a sweet melody with it but moreover you greatly capture the sonic sound that waldorf was and is so famous for! thumbs up man this is probably one of the best compositions in heard in a multi on a micro q !!

  • sound so musical/

  • Am I right in thinking that these modules sounded unique a few yrs back and still sound great but the latest batch of softsynths are very virtually identical and more flexible?

  • Really, a lovely sequence...

  • i have this video in my bookmarks since 18months or so... love it! cannot recreate it with any other synth ^^ sounds so sweet

  • I want that song, it's beautiful!

  • I've got a question- I've just bought the Waldorf Blofeld but I am also in love with the micro q. I am new to the world of synths, but is it possible to hook this up with the Blofeld via midi? It may sound like a daft question but I am a complete novice when it comes to these things. Is it even worth me forking out for this when I have the Blofeld? Any help with my question would be very appreciated.

  • you can link them together if the blofeld has MIDI in/out and thru.

But if you wanted to run both, then i'd recommend using either a MIDI hub or the MIDI in/out/thru on your controller keyboard if u have one.

Not sure why you would also need a Micro Q if you have the blofeld. i thought the blofeld had all the patches from previous synths in it but i could be mistaken. I do know that both synths are controlled by different DCO's.

  • Hi there- thanks for the heads up. I didn't realise that the Blofeld had all the previous synths in it. I believe that the Blofeld does have midi in/out and thru, but I am absolutely useless when it comes to these things. I may still get the Micro Q if the price is right just because it looks and sounds son goddamn fantastic. Many thanks again, Warren :)

  • any chance of a video demo of loads o presets ?

  • Catchy melody wich surround the gear demoed, youtube and everything around.

  • Great sound an melody..

You got an myspace account somewhere with your music?

  • Love this riff could you send me the midi file?

PS you sound like exactly like Steven Merchant ( co wrote The Office with Ricky Gervais.

  • I remember looking for a good synth (a long long time ago...), and I heard Waldorf... truly amazing sound - can't forget that name.

Thank you for posting the demo.

  • damn I keep returning to this ..really catching feel good ( in a sad way ) melodie

    $LIke it a lot

  • buurnnn withh desireee

  • Great demo, shows the true potential of the Q. I think if someone can have a great sequence playing through a great patch, like you did, it can truly show the full potential of the machine in it's entirety with that one sound. Nicely done. I would love a copy of the MIDI if you don't mind sending it.

  • yeh dude u def inspired me to purchase one.

i got one off ebay for US $350 like 10 minutes ago =]

  • dont suppose your patches are availbe are they?

  • Nice, but I think the Microwave series sounds better.

  • homemade patch?

    nice melodic sound really :)

  • thanx man

    appreciate it

  • yes yes, I Love it, its not the Instrument alone that playing good , importently is who play it and how he play it, thankz for the nice payling ; )

  • ney bother. glad u likey

if it helps, the rob papen albino 3 sounds very similar to the waldforf/nord. tis now my preferred choice other than omnisphere

  • 200 euros or pounds or whatever you guys are using across the pond - I know they run about 4 to 5 hundred dollars used in the States. They are cool as they are Waldorf products.

  • Please please tell me what scale and and key that's in. I want to learn it SO BADLY. I bought a Waldorf BECAUSE of this video.

  • i can send u the midi if u need it?

  • @specialistsound hi specialistsound, can you send the midi to me too?

nice video and nice melody, man!

  • @specialistsound I've been waiting a year for this MIDI lol! I don't wish to steal it, I just wanna learn whats inside your beautiful head ^_^

Please send me this amazing sequence at neyowolf@yahoo.com

  • @specialistsound I would love the midi as well, I'm getting the Waldorf full keyboard Q tomorrow and would love to dive right into it. Thank you, I'll message my info : )

  • You silly idi*t -- Can't you see the midi indicator from the midex 8, on top. He is probably playing from the sequencer

  • I am an owner and can tell you its the BEST of the racks that I have. The sounds are MUCH bigger than the rack size .. amazing .. not cheap but you get what you pay for ..

  • It's a microQ, not a Q!

  • Sweet sounds, waldorf q rocks. Where can I get that jamb?

  • Sweeeeeeet! Love it, god damn!

  • I have 1 waldorf Q blue keyboard... is very very very power synth!!

  • How much is thye rack ones... i want one

  • about 500 euro in italy

  • The current price is more like 225. You can even get them for less than 200 on ebay sometimes.

  • i can't find a new one for less than 450 euros in italy ...whereas a second hand costs about 300/250€ :)

  • and, bought mine today for 300 euro
