  • If the similarities are that hidden, that you have to analyse the soundtrack to figure them out, it totally failed. You should recognize similarities during playing, not while listening to the tracks themselves. And I don't agree with your conclusions, I don't hear any similarity except something, that MIGHT resemble one, but might be aswell pure coincidence.

But thanks for the vid, anyway. :)

  • cant wait for hell march 3

  • I liked the TW tracks when i first heard them, but they get boring so quick. How some in all the trailers building up to the release of this they were using Tiberian Sun music...? I was hoping there would be a mix of all the old Tiberium/Tiberian games... :( with some remixes too.

They totally implied this with the trailers. How can i make my old C&C mp3's play in C&C3???

  • About playing your old CNC tracks when playing games, you could simple let your media player run them, and then turn of the music in the C&C3 game.

BTW. Community manager Apoc, has confirmed there will be a remix of Act on Instinct in Kane's Wrath.

  • yeah i kinda actually want the tracks to play at the appropriate times. The normal menu music is fine, just the old stuff while in battle is required.

Like how u can import music into gta kinda thing

  • I actually think the music of TW is acceptable. But some parts are boring, some parts are rubbish. What I really miss in the music of TW is the emotion.

The music in the previous C&C games carried emotions which gave you also motivation to play. Hearing Hell March makes you want to command a giant army into battle.

The music in TW can't do this. In TW it's actually more like an ambient booster. Or an ambient sound. It increases the emotion given by the maps on which you are playing.

  • I COMPLETELY AGREE , the TW music is good for the TW itself , there should be no comparison that is is bad against other CNC musics , but overall my favourite is RA2Yr music

  • Declined.

There was 3 tracks. One track for each faction. Actually 4. There is also for the intro.

  • There were 1/3 of the USA tracks from Generals that totally rocked. But all the other music ranged from "meh" to "absolute crap".

What can I say, I liked the Tiberium Wars soundtrack. And I see a lot of the old-school fans suffer from selective memory loss- The Tiberian Sun soundtrack was easily the worst of the entire franchise.

  • The music really sounds bland and shit, just like EA.

  • sry TW music does sucks. but i gave up my hopes of ever listening to something like TD or RA songs in any other C&C game. so it doesnt really matter. nice try by the way i wanted to believe u.

  • Maybe it's just the volum of the songs? And I would liked if we could choose an option to play songs out until it ends. Like in the older games.

Nice analysis though, but I should also be in the list at the end. I feel something's missing when hearing those songs.

  • YEA

  • Am I right or what?

  • No its still crap. I see your point but it is still painfully slow and thats the problem.

The technical music in TD was really fast paced and that was what made it so good.

This is just painfully slow and therefore sjucks imo. I really dont care if the tunes remind of the old ones, as long as it is this slow it will always be crap.

You can even hear the music properly when playing TW and you could defineyly hear it in TD.

  • Btw... this is Steph :D

  • BTW. This is Steph :D

  • Och. DUBAL POSTAR! Dah.
