Is college football as big in Nebraska as everyone says it is? I would just like to know. I wouldn't mind going to a Cornhuksers game at Memorial Stadium someday.
Yes. I also hear that the Cornhusker fans are the nicest and most knowledgeable in college football. I really can't say the same about about fans. Although, the Badger fans will support the team whether of not the team is doing good.
Its a bigger deal than you would ever imagine. Seriously you cant put it into words. It is Simply the greatest college football state in the nation. You will have an awesome time, win or lose at Memorial Stadium.
It has sold out ever game since 1976 I believe. Thats quite a statement considering that when that stadium is full, the amount of people in the stadium is more than the entire population of Nebraska City, which is the 3rd largest city in the state.
We don't. I mean sure there is always "That one guy." However its very very frowned upon, Sportsmanship is more important to us than W or L and thats the truth. We have a rivalry with Oklahoma, we have a hatred for Colorado. UNL is also a dry campus so that helps keep people behaving decent.
Good. Opposite of University of Wisconsin, but Wisconsin has very loyal fans, not as loyal as UNL, but season ticket renewal for 2009 is at 96% considering Wisconsin went 7-6 didn't have a good year last year.
Dude were going to be 10 -3 this year with a bowl game win making us 11-3

Gill.. he coached under legendary Osbourne he knows Nebraska and the amazing history this program has had, he could really bring that back
