  • Eikös tästä bändistä jotku ole siinä happoradiossa? :DDDD Aika hauskaa ku joku tälläsest bändistä on tollases paskapoppiryhmässä

  • Classic forever.

  • classic

  • This album is seriously perfect.

  • Ette varmaan usko, mutta tän laulaja, Tuomas Ala-Nissilä, on meijän koulussa äikän opettajana !!! \,,/

  • @TheNecrophile666

Olen kyllä kuullu ,että hän on sillä alalla. Tällä lätyllä laulaa vielä kuitenkin Esa Linden.

  • Eternal worship

  • hey i need a list of thetop 10 death metal bands and three songs each

  • @alucard1173

that's pretty subjective, I can list my favorites but that's the top for me and maybe not for you

  • @alucard1173 Start will Bolt Thrower, Nile, Necrophagist, Death, Skinless, Fleshmould, Carcariass, Carcass, Demigod, Dying Fetus.

Listen to anything they did. Don't be lazy. You'll see if you dislike it.

  • @paddymoep Good bands in that last: Bolt Thrower, Death (first three albums are atleast GOOD), Carcass, Demigod. Nile and Carcariass are decent but absolutely nothing to start with, and I doubt if they're ever worth spending much time on. That is all, 4 good bands at any rate.

Massacra (first two), Deicide (first two are most important, but 3rd and 4rth are excellent records aswell), Amorphis (Debut, demos and the second album at will), At the Gates (first two, third at will). There.

  • @Tweenythepriest My first death metal band was Bolt Thrower. Album was Those Once Loyal. At first i listened to it because i didn't want to let a friend down, then i loved the guitar walls they send flying at you. The vocals came after that.

It also helped that i once used to listen to metalcore and deathcore.

  • @Tweenythepriest miasma, grave - old, disastrous murmur, malediction and old demigod, sentenced and xysma! hail to the metal of death

  • vittu,niin, kaunista,

  • GREAT FUCKING ALBUM !!!!!! \m/

  • Does anybody know a shop that sells these dm classics? Not the expensive original ones but re-releases? Its so goddamn hard to find any older dm albums from regular music stores. I live in Finland. if it matters.

  • @P4nzerk93 Try on the internet, Xtreem records website sells some cool reissues

  • @P4nzerk93 Thanks man! THey got all demigod albums + t-shirt. I also found purteanance and depravity albums. Thaks again.

  • @P4nzerk93 no problem, really, It's a pleasure to help a metal mate :)

  • whenever i think of demigod i think of the intro to this brutal song

  • Listen to Whitechapel for TRUE death metal, this is too old and lacks pigsqueals

  • @TheIncredibleDrAss Whitechapel Death metal ? WHERE ????????????????????? and death metal it's not just PIG SQUEALS dumb ass ...

Go listen to your Deathcore For Tr00kids666fromhell and let the real thing to Death metal fans

  • @gaiavoth You got trolled! LOL

  • @Metalmania84 i got trolled ? where ?

  • @gaiavoth You do realize the guy was trolling, no? The joke's on you then.

  • @Metalmania84 For me it doesn't looks like he was trolling '-'

  • @TheIncredibleDrAss im not gonna bash Whitechapel cause they're fuckin awesome but they are not death metal. Also Phil Bozeman does not pigsqueal he does a mix of gutterals and power frys

  • this is a jewel of album...I got the vinyl directly from the band late in 90s...and is still with me...remember that Esa Linden, sent me their "Unholy Domain" Demo plus some killer rehearsals...good memories!!!

  • HAHAH I LOLED

  • I do worship Demigod Slumber Of Sullen Eyes, dont You????

  • I cant fucking believe this has been out there since '92 and I'm just now hearing it.

  • 3 people listen to Suicide Silence

  • @BroadwayRonMexico 5 people listen to suicide silence

  • \m/ this is one of the few albums that are completely perfect as in a 100% PERFECTION

  • theres a demigod in new york btw

  • can someone tell me where i can buy this album

  • This album is something that never gets old, you can listen to it 10^5 times and it only gets better listen after listen.

I suggest you to listen to this loud with your stereo, you'll notice a powerful amount of bottom tones that will drive you insane.

    Great lyrics.

  • kellään hajua mistä tän albumin vois löytää

  • @UusiKannibaalikani

Meni ebayssa ainaki yks kappale 150 taalalla pari viikkoa sitte.

  • @Pakanahymni no huhuh : D taitaa jäädä tuo ainakin ostamatta

  • "I like chicken if it's barbeque, chicken if it's barbeque! barbeque! barbeque! barbeque! I like chicken if it's barbeque!"

  • the drummer is my fluffer

  • who can spot the faggot with the slipknot quote?

  • @4evahigh Who can spot the faggot with the assumption that "You cannot kill ,what is already dead" is a Slipknot quote?

  • @chelseasmile696 It's "You cannot kill what you did not create" asshat...

  • @Fantasticladiesman Read my year-old comment again, you stupid fuck. lrn2comprehension

  • @chelseasmile696 I am sorry to say this but slipknot is not that bad. Don't get me wrong, I love all metal and grindcore(genres/sub genres).

  • @heresyify When did i hate on my favorite band of all time? PLEASE... read my comment again goddamnit. lol

  • @chelseasmile696 Okay, I see what you meant in that last comment. Great death metal displayed here.

  • @heresyify Agreed.

  • @4evahigh

You must've really been into Slipknot to recognize that as one of their lyrics, huh?

  • @Thresholds actually not... but i've heard their music enough to recognise a quote. but on second thought the comment i replied to was not an exact quote but close

  • I have listened to death metal for five years of my life and here it is January 9th, 2011 and I have just discovered this band. Why did it take this long? This is too good to not have heard of it before! Why?!

  • @ImmortalConcept I know what you mean, Youtube is like my ultimate source of music. Internet makes the difference.

  • @metalheadedtothemax Yeah, well... I decided to go on my night long journey of new bands searching and came across a list online taken from Terrorizer called 'The Secret History Of... Death Metal' and found this band on it and am not disappointed at all. I keep listening to the album a whole lot.

  • Antbody know where I can buy this album online?

  • Lovely, the old school brutal underground.....

  • it was good up until he started singing

  • KILLER RIFFS

  • The drummer is my neighbor.

  • @sstring91 Holy. Fuck.

  • I wish i would have found out about this album earlier. this really stands out from other death metal albums because i think it creates an entirely different atmosphere. as much as i love american death metal, this is much darker. Hails from america \m/ \m/

  • "Slumber of Sullen Eyes" is perhaps the best DEATH Metal album ever written.

  • 0:48 I lovethis riff so much. It eats me alilve

  • where can I find this album?

  • man is amazing brother

  • WTF cannibal and suck dont belong in the same sentance wtf is wrong with u people have u been to a death fest lately? death metal is better than its ever been well depending on wheather or not u want to call bands like Origin and Hour of penance death metal or melodic or whatever the fuck. Vital Remains still fucking school their old shit from the early 90's can suck my dick though. U have to look hard to find the good ones.

  • This singer is my finnish teacher =DDDDD

  • @Kjaasan You are one lucky motherfucker.

  • SICK

  • soon as it hit 4:11 it turned into the most epic track known to man.

  • Pure magic

  • this song has a perfect atmosphere - this is how death metal should be played! love this album!

  • demigod rules !!! best finnish band! perfect metal of death

  • @ImmortalConcept Dead Congregation, Teitanblood, Grave Miasma, Ilsa, Swallowed, Ignivomous, Repugnant, Obliteration. The list goes on.

  • @societysvirus plus goat tyrant and doombringer from poland

  • fucking great song

  • one of the best death metal albums ever.

  • @EGrobinPK

I must agree with you, I listened to it alot!

  • Metal is dead? In mainstream music, yes it is...try the underground metal scene.

Metal was considered Dead in the 90's, but the 90's was the glory days of death metal, Most of my favourite Death Metal came out in the 90's....

  • YES YES FUCKIN YES!

  • @raglfragloo piss off, newb

  • chacal death metal hace muxos años que lo vengo escuxan2 larga vida al metal

  • Sounds like the early era of guitar downtuning, only that back then guitars had 6 string (like they should have) and it sounded way more brutal than today's 20 strings ultradowntuned music.

  • Everybody has to worship this album now.

  • A fantastic album, to say the least.

  • Hessian.

  • your an idiot! how old are you buy the way? oh and Pantera sucks!

  • ? Metalheads love listening to metal music, Death Metal is regular metal, becuase it is metal music, genres don't matter, Metal IS Metal. Metalheads love Metal.

  • another obscure old school DM classic

  • cant wait to get this c.d. ... to bad its like 35 bucks on ebay :(

  • Hell yeah Jeremy, this album kicks ass.

  • thats nothing, quit your bitching, I payed $50 for Demilich: Nespithe.

  • Ya man i bought this one for like $60 mint condition

  • For those saying there is no good death metal nowadays check out Grave Miasma and Asphyx just to name a few.

  • And The Chasm.

  • And Dead Congregation.

  • Those bands are only just the puny tip of a huge rotten iceburg, oozing the reflections of the past golden times. "You cannot kill ,what is already dead"

  • @XysmicExecration Necropsy and Pestigore are my 2 favorite Finnish death/grind bands

  • @XysmicExecration no one can kill death-old school death metal will reign forever

  • @XysmicExecration That is not dead which can eternal lie And with strange eons even death may die."

    ;)

    Cthulhu Fhtagn.

  • @XysmicExecration "You can't overdie, you can't overdry."

  • @XysmicExecration There's a lot of good Death Metal out there. You just have too look a little harder.

  • @FDL84 umm asphyx has been around forever dude

  • @FDL84 also psoriasis and my own grave, they are consistently fast and heavy and somewhat technical

  • @FDL84 year old comment, I know, but Asphyx aren't a new band.

  • @FDL84

Eucharist, Morbid Angel, At The Gates. Older bands usually, but a lot of good new ones too!

  • @FutileExistence i dont really like morbid angel's new.

  • @NoTaRaSoZZy

Ugh! Don't even get me started about their new stuff, its terrible. It made me say "WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?!"

  • @FutileExistence FUCK morbid angels new album, but Suffocations new album was fukken incredible, Gorguts too, Autopsys new album was amazing, it had the great old skool sound, and cant forget bolt thrower.

  • @M08bballer

Ugh... new morbid angel was... ugh!!! Suffocation's new stuff was decent. Haven't heard new autopsy nor gorguts, maybe I'll check it out! =D

  • Hyvää Soumi! This is a great band!

    Hail from Sweden!

  • Tack så mycket

    Heja Sverige !

Some pretty damn great bands on that side of the gulf aswell

  • \m/

  • Its ashamed that my generation is only going to be remembered as the kids who liked gay vampires and three faggots who can't play guitar worth shit. -____-

  • and the generation that demigod is part of is remembered for an example of grunge, cold war and poor glam metal, time just makes shit disappear and brings the best parts and makes you think that everything was better in 90s or 80s etc

  • @slayerhirvi

You know, all the things you mentioned are still better than what we have now. Today, people are conscious of their impending mass extermination, which we have no power whatsoever to prevent. Waiting that, we have to deal with terrorism and metal/ deathcore. 80's sounds like heaven to me compared to all this bullshit. Ofcourse, I never lived back then, but still.

  • nääh, en jaksa uskoa et kaikki muka oli ennen paremmin

muuten minkä vitun takia kaikki kommentit yhtä lukuunottamatta on tääl enkuks? kuitenki lähes kaikki kommentoijat suomalaisia

  • @slayerhirvi

  • people have been conscious of their impending doom since forever

  • There's ALSO the fact that there are gems in even glam metal - I'd happily throw on Too Fast for Love, or some W.A.S.P. While metal/deathcore.. Not so much.

And there's also all these br00tal kids who think that it's gotta be heavy and loud and screamin' etc. etc. for it to be metal.. Just completely ruining the scene now, if you get what I mean.

I can't go anywhere the "metal" kids hang out without getting insulted for repping a Motorhead backpatch.. while they wearing a CoB shirt.

  • lmao!

  • Makes me wonder if this new decade is gonna be any better than the last one. : \

  • Fucking yes. Every other kid I meet says something gay like "You listen to that screaming music like A7X don't you"?

  • @ NintendoDevil. You know what pisses me off even more!?!? When kids listen to this dethcore crap. The LEAST they can do is accept the fact that we created them, and they should respect us. But oh, wait, they don't!!!! <(-. -<)

  • metal is dead, just make of fun of losers who conforma nd think they are cool and listen to hardcore music when they listen to pussy ass bullshit that pretty much ruined the metal scene

  • @xdyingfetusx69

Metal is not dead and is not even close to being dead. Get a clue.

  • fuck yes it is good death meatl is fukin dead...... of course there is metal but it doesn' compare to shit back in the day except the DSBM scene imo.........

  • emo/scene is a disease, kids are in denial nowadays of being emo... they dont even fukin know they are emo its so fukin gay....... stupid kids and their fads metal is pretty much dead...... there are nnot rly any good death metal bands left just some good dsbm projects

  • There is a countless amount of new very good Death metal bands. I can't say ,that they've actually brought much new nuances into the genre, but they certainly provide a more listenable alternative to this "mainstream bullshit metal", term commonly associated with metalcore and deathcore.

I could name dozens of good bands to you. Most of which, are sadly very "underground"

  • Maybe so but nothing compares to underground deathmetal of the 90s........ I don't like all this hi-fi hi-quality super technical shit....... I used to be all about that but it does'nt appeal to me anymore ..... music is about aesthetics not who can play the most notes in a minute

  • Yes, but many of these new underground Death metal bands are, in many respects , the early 90's all over again. And for me, that's a positive thing.

  • @xdyingfetusx69 DUDE!!! Check out Krypts, from Finland. Their about as old school as you can get when it comes to newer bands, They released their first demo last year. Open the Crypt.

  • @xdyingfetusx69 .Even though I'm one of the new generation of DM fans,I'd always prefer this gritty-sounding music over clean and tidy. When it come to super technical stuff,Suffocation and Immolation is what it should sound like, not Necrophagist and it's ilk.

  • @TruthINgorE Agreed. Nothing like raw, unadulterated energy to bring a song to life.

  • @TruthINgorE Immolation for the fucking win!

  • @xdyingfetusx69 Nile? Behemoth? Cannibal Corpse?

  • @andrewskaterrr

Worthy of fame (Nile), Should've stuck to their old sound (Behemoth), suck now (Cannibal Corpse)

  • @That667Guy Behemoth's old old stuff like more black stuff? cause im not a big fan of their early stuff. and for CC i think Evisceration was a little bit of a let down but i love Kill. Hopefully they'll pick it up with their next album

  • @andrewskaterrr

Yeah, Behemoth did Black Metal based on Pagan beliefs and we can only hope for a good Cannibal Corpse album

  • @That667Guy ya im not a big black metal fan that's why i don't like their early stuff. I liked it when they switched to blackened death

  • @andrewskaterrr

I don't mind their death metal days, but they were really good when they did black metal

  • @XysmicExecration Name them to me.

  • @XysmicExecration Could you name some? Rather know about 50 kickass death metal bands then 25 kickass death metal bands

  • @TheMilfman7 yeah ur generation kinda sux

  • @TheMilfman7 You talking about Slipknot?

  • @TheMilfman7

I would have predicted it would get sicker and more extreme, turns out this age is the age of teh ghey and wiggerism

I should have known back when I met metalheads with manga/animu fetishes that this can only turn for the worse...

  • @TheMilfman7 Amen.

  • @TheMilfman7 even worse. emos will be seen as the rebelious kids!!! but there is still plenty off true metal coming out we just need to keep it alive

  • @TheMilfman7 dude u have no idea how simillar we both feel

  • Awesome

  • My new favorite Demigod song after Perpetual Ascent (demo version). It struck me about three hours ago, when I was on my way home from a guitar clinic, how fucking awesome this song is. Especially the ending.

  • Why has this album not been re-issued?

  • Oh, but it has. By Xtreem records. I have one myself

  • Damn, I can't even find the re-issue anywhere! I must own this.

  • @GodMacabre Xtreem just did additional reprints, look for them on ebay, should be around 7-9$

  • the intro kinda sounds like gallery of suicide by CC....or is it just me?

  • nah it does :)

  • Sorta, remember this song came out six years earlier then gallery of suicide though.

  • <3 Old School Death Metal bands from Finland.

  • hard to believe this material is almost 20 years old. It could be released now and get praise. 1991-93 was a great time for death metal, lots of underground releases like these guys and

Disincarnate, people were not ready for it and it went under the radar. I was listening to

Death and Morbid Angel alot back then.

  • Fuckin' good shit here.

  • Wow XysmicExecration I really like these Death Metal videos that you have been posting lately. Nothing but truly amazing death metal bands. A lot of them are new to me which is werid because I been into death since I was 15 and now I'm 18. I thank you for posting these video. I can honestly say that Death Metal bands like this one, Sentenced, and Mordicus put Cannibal Corpse and Dying Fetus to shame. Keep it Metal or should i say DEATH METAL.

  • Just been finding myself interested in Death metal, specifically the bands that produced a dirty atmosphere that the current scene has left behind. Got interested in Funebre and then heard about Demigod and loving it.

  • Watched them live in Eskilstuna 1991! One of the best deathmetal gigs i've ever seen! Fuckin chaos^^
