I really like this band, mainly because everything just clicks together, not just because Jack is on the drums. Mosshart can sing, and the guitarist can fuckin rip it. I do like The Raconteurs better, however, especially with Brendan Benson complimenting Jack on vocals and guitar. But this sound just kicks ass.

1:12-1:15 is hot and 1:46-1:49. jadore alison. she is fucking hot. dean too! his solo is amazing. jack to. he is god and alison is goddess. this whole band to sum up is just hot. this is heavier than a lot of  kills material and raconteurs. but i like the change.

Sounds like punk revival to me.  Heady stuff. Jack White on vocals and drums is a real twist on the White stripes. Alison reminds me a lot of another Allison- good, strong, earthy voice that's perfect for this sound. Band has promise.

Like a lot of ya'll, I was looking forward to the Dead Weather album b/c of Jack White. When I found out most of the singing was going to be Allison Mosshart I was really disappointed....but open. (Jack rarely steers us wrong.) Well, I'm really starting to gain an appreciation for her. I saw her play with the Racs in Memphis last fall. But she is really coming into her own. LOVE this song, esp. that last part where she gets so desparate sounding. Lots of feeling. Excellent!!
