Regardless of any personal, or even negative sentiments you may have regarding cats or animals in general in comparison with humans, there is no reason for wanting to hurt an animal that has been domesticated for keeping someone company.
I agree that we should be helping our 3rd world brethren - nevertheless, it doesn't mean that you have the right to say "you'd like to hurt a cat." That's senseless and cruel and you don't want karma to return to your doorstep one day.
It seems more like the cat was getting the shot near it's butt, so it could have been screeching this: MY ASS!!!! MY ASS!! IT HURTS LIKE HELL!! MY ASS!! HELP ME!!

First off that tech is horrible. You don't grab the cats legs like that. And why is the client helping? You never want to risk a client getting bit or scratched. When I either give shots or help with giving shots I always scruff and shake my hand which shakes the cats head. This distracts the cat because they are trying to focus. Doing that distracts the cat that more often than not the cat doesn't even notice the shot.
