there is absolutely nothing wrong with a news organization that comes from a particular part of the ideological spectrum when it comes to how it reports the news, as long as that news organization is fully honest with the viewer about it. KO isn't a big interviewer, that's fine, he's clearly brilliant in his Special Comments and just general day to day amusing slants on the happenings of the day and right-wing stuff in particular. That's his niche for the most part. KO is a little high strung so an opposing guest talking BS to him, he probably would go off on them instead of being so diplomatic as Rachel. Ed is a little harder on the eyes and ears in some ways, but he's very clued in and smart IMO, he's got an activist soul.

So that people are not mislead.
News is a very powerful tool if it is misused. and there is a ton of misuse on Fox's part as well as others. The only people who label themselves correctly is the Daily show which is not news and time after time says they are fake news.

Ed Schultz is *nothing* compared to Maddow and Olbermann.
Maddow is the hardest working anchors I've seen, reports all kinds of different perspectives, respects guests even if she disagrees and apologises on air if she finds shes done something wrong.
Olbermann talks way too fast and is incredibly self absorbed, but he's creative in his formats and some of his special comments are truly excellent pieces of work.
Schultz pushes a simple partisan view to the end. He's worse than O'Reilly.

KO isn't a big interviewer, that's fine, he's clearly brilliant in his Special Comments and just general day to day amusing slants on the happenings of the day and right-wing stuff in particular. That's his niche for the most part. KO is a little high strung so an opposing guest talking BS to him, he probably would go off on them instead of being so diplomatic as Rachel. Ed is a little harder on the eyes and ears in some ways, but he's very clued in and smart IMO, he's got an activist soul.

The anchor who said something about white people showing up at Obama events in an armed fashion is a daytime anchor. A time when most Americans are at work. No one is attacking freedom of speech. Fox is allowed to say whatever they want. They're just saying that Fox is dishonest when it claims it's a legitimate news network, which it isn't. It is not a news network, it doesn't report the news, it gives its opinion on the news.

ALL news media cast a slanted view and they always have since our country's inception. So why pick on FOX?? It's very third grade, especially coming from the damn White House. I expect more from these guys. A lot of people, from all walks of life, would similarly say the Obama administration should stop "pretending" their not die hard socialists. Because Fox doesn't actually report any news, it only gives its opinion on the news. It's like a 24/7 Daily Show except without the jokes/satire.
The congressional research service report says there is an unprecedented number of death threats towards Obama. Over 400% higher than that of Bush. The Secret Service doesn't have the manpower to investigate each case. White nationalist militant groups have also increased by 35%. So things like Glenn Beck's race baiting only makes it worse.

The crickets were chirping on those fronts with every other network. (At least Jake Tapper is finally showing some backbone). And do you think any news network shows more bias than MSNBC? A poor example? You're obviously missing the big picture here. OF COURSE those stories were politically motivated when they first came out, but they are also EXTREMELY politically relevant - so why would no other network even bother to look in to them? You can rail against FOX all day and all night, but they shed some light with those stories that needed to be shed in a free society. This isn't China, yet.
